https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fxq1Iqh8xpAnoxgawds we are back
I clicked the video just because well, noxI didnt expect all that though.
Just booted it up, it connects to those multiplayer servers no problem, you just log in as if you already had an account
alright but really where are the Nox gawds.
Never played online but this was a cool singleplayer game. The wizard was by far the most fun class. I loved how you aimed spells by using the mouse to rotate ur characters direction felt satisfying when you nailed a dude with a heavy spell
>>4093705>felt satisfying when you nailed a dude with a heavy spelllanding death ray was always really satisfying.the online is nominally playable right now (not that many players but more than there were for years occasionally)
>>4089020Oh hell yeeeeeeeee. Nox was my #1 game as young teen. CTF was always my favorite because you could play to win or just fuck around endlessly laying traps and fragging people. I did hit top 10 on the solo deathmatch ladder when the game was in its prime. Ah to be young again.
>>4096153>CTF was always my favorite because you could play to win or just fuck around endlessly laying traps and fragging peoplectf is such a great mode for things in general, but I have powerful memories of it in nox. There's mostly arena games that go up right now but I'm hoping to see some ctf some time, even if there's no way to truly revive the game back to what it was at launch.
>>4089020Not an RPG. Doesn't stop it from mogging the rest of Diablo-likes and Diablo-esques tho.
Truly a game that has no descendants. ARPGs went fully down the pve loot treadmill route with no looking back. Even the theme is so of its era with Jack being a receding hairline white couch potato as our glorious and relatable hero. Doesn't take itself seriously but without any Whedonesque Uh that just happened irony poisoning. Probably too niche to ever merit a spiritual successor.
>>4089020why do you and other nox-fags post this shit in /vrpg/ and not say /vr/?the only superficial rpg elements it has is you get stronger when xp bar fills up and you have a paperdoll to dress up. The actual game is just an isometric action game
>>4112972I actually made the thread on /v/, /vr/, /vm/, and /vrpg/ simultaneously.
