What is your favorite comfy slice-of-life JRPG?
Noora and the Time Studio. Super adorable slice of life JRPG. It's pretty much Atelier with the serial numbers filed off, but I found it more charming in several aspects. One could argue that the comfy factor is dampened little bit by the Persona/Atelier-esque timer that the game has, but if you can tolerate it in Persona and Atelier, it's tolerable here too.

Chrono Trigger
>>4101759How is Chrono Trigger slice of life?
>>4101671What translation are you using? The one on RHDN is trannified.
>>4101494>comfy slice-of-lifeI don't. I only play serious games for serious man.
>>4102591https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-final-nora-and-the-time-studio-the-witch-of-the-misty-forest-translation-project.560993/I think it was this one, it has been years already. You do have to specify what you mean by trannified though if this is the one you are referring to. I dont remember any of that stuff in this translation.

>>4102609Aah, really sorry but I dont have the slightest of memories of any lines like that. Either I just ignored them or dementia is hitting early. You probably just have to try it out and see for yourself.
>>4101494I play RPGs to escape the monotony and frustration of daily life, not to experience more of it. And especially so when the daily life in question centers around awkward Japanese social interactions and mannerisms.

I have comfy JRPGs but the only one that is both that and slice of life for me is P4. If you took out the second part then Live A Live is easily my favorite comfy JRPG
