Are there any non-retro RPGs with really good exploration? What RPG has your favorite world to explore?
>>4106687> non-retro RPGs> goodAre you retarded?
>>4106687Xenoblade X
>>4106774If its Japanese, it’s not an RPG.
>>41067737th gen > 6th gen and below for rpg's only>>4106777This but only on keksoles and sneed'cs. The real rpg's are on cellphones. [Best dragon age AND final fantasies]
>>4106687>hallway quest 8>good exploration
>>4107234Least it's better than 11's lmao.
>>4106776this, legitimately and unironically. Shame the plot sucks however.
>>4106687Why is the protagonist as tall as the trees? And where are all the forests?
>>4107367>missing the forest for the trees
>>4107253guess the series just doesnt work in 3d. at least the 9 and 7 kept a top down view.
>>4106687Rogue Trader, going around exploring on the star map was cool.
>>4106774In the first zone I realized there was nothing to find, so I literally just did the main quest. I remember someone telling me how much they liked that song from when you first get out onto the giant's leg or whatever, I think the Smash Bros stage, and I didn't even remember it because I was there for like 5 minutes since I never explored. To answer your question OP, I don't know. I'm really conflicted on exploration in games. I like the idea of it, but I don't think there are many games where I enjoy doing it outside of like ... Zelda 1.
