I've been working on a heavily modified Haven MUD called Paroxysm.https://paroxysmrpg.comhttps://discord.gg/Hkx8rcj4k6It's a modern supernatural dystopia where the supernatural is publicly known and hunted by an authoritarian world government called the Cortex. You can play someone trying to survive under it or work for the people doing the hunting.It's pretty PvP heavy and deliberately more of an actual game than a pure social RP environment. There's a GTA style crime system with witnesses and wanted levels, zombies, NPCs, operations, bounties, maps, in game pictures and a bunch of other systems layered on top of the usual MUD stuff.We're constantly adding more features and rewriting old Haven systems. The server is already playable but it's still early alpha so there's plenty that isn't finished yet and things are changing pretty regularly.Curious if anyone here still plays MUDs and what would actually convince you to try a new one.
