finally finished this game, this one took the longest to make since it went through about 2 iterations, at first I wanted to make it full 3D like super mario kart but I was having trouble thinking how the opponent AI would work there, so I opted for how those old arcade games did it with pseudo mode 7 since it fits the arcade theme more and it was easier to make the opponent more of a threat (there is some rubber banding involved)now only the battle gauntlet left and one more facility, although still missing NPCs and a shop to finish this area and then move on to the 2nd half full time
