i sent square enix an email about making the boost mechanic in pixel remastered even harder (0.25x/0.1x), suggested they add the boost mechanic to ff7 so i can make the game harder, and fix the bugs in the ff7 port where the game has a stroke if you have a solid 120+ fps and they said they're going to talk to the development team about ityou're welcome
>>4113803Just install the 60fps mod with Seventh Heaven ffs.
>>4114791i was playing the android port and got so sick of it i'm gonna switch a psx iso in retroarchadding more difficulty settings if they follow through will be great though
>>4113803You're going to hate me for saying it but they need to add the level-scaling from 8 to 7. Half the problem with 7's difficulty is you can easily outlevel everything you fight (except the weapons/superbosses).Adding 8's level scaling to 7 alleviates this problem. So long as they do it like in the original and keep minimum levels relevant, and not set them all to 1.
>>4115022nahff8 is one of the games i played and dropped because of how bad the gameplay wasi don't think i even want to try playing that one again (i already know the whole story anyway)i had a good time on my ff1 and ff6 challenge runs and want an even harder challenge
>>4115022The solution to overleveling in FF7 is to simply beeline through each area efficiently, without wandering around and getting into unnecessary random fights. Then you’ll be at roughly the intended level throughout the game.Secondarily, it helps to rotate through all party members evenly rather than just using a core main trio
