Despite its significant fall off after the first art and the sometimes baffling XP system tied to opening containers, Encased is still one of the best sci-fi RPGs ever made.

Then the money ran out and everything subsequent to it was streamlined so they could finish the game.Combat is well done and while there's some bonkers combos they never feel game breaking. Personally I love using a good ol' baseball bat to the noggin to send my enemies flying but a retard with a laser rifle is equally dangerous.
