anyone play this?

Is this less faggy than Pillars 2?
>>4120125I think it was the spiritual successor to the SNES game Uncharted Waters: New Horizons which T.l.L. also came out on the Sega Genesis/S.M.D.I like the lack of combat in this game (and its earlier entry), so no random encounters. But I've only played as a trader/gambler, got rich, bought a bigger ship, and got myself a crew, geared them up, then got bored and not sure what to do next.
I've played a lot of indie rpgs and Quartet is probably the closest to actually feeling like a AAA JRPG. In particular I found the writing to be surprisingly good for an indie game.
>>4120102I love Open world FFT + Uncharted Waters (never played Uncharted Waters)Wished the continents were actually explorable and those hidden grottos more varied
>>4120556workshop bumps this game up from a 7 to a 9/10
>>4120102Played it with the workshop content mods and liked it quite a bit. Well worth the sale price.
>>4120300That hippo bothers me immensely.
What is a good starting party? Mainly race ideas and stat points.>>4120300I have been slowly replaying their first game -- Shadows of Adam -- sometimes when I am drunk, while using their strategy guide PDF.
>>4120102One of my favorite indie RPGs but it gets extremely repetitive by the end. All the simple simulation elements on top of the FFT foundation make it more than the sum of its parts for me
