Took me over a hundred hours and I still wasn’t ready for it to end, this game just keeps opening up, new sky, new continent, new crew member showing up on the ship and suddenly you care about them completely. Vyse is one of the best protagonists ever written because he never wavers and somehow that never gets boring. The world is so specifically itself, the way the sky works, the moonstones, the native tribes, the Armada bearing down on you with actual weight. Ship battles felt enormous every time. Fina’s arc hit harder than it had any right to. I’m still thinking about it.
