Time to shill my favourite indie game of all timesI made a thread when it was released, time for another oneSL2 is a grand strategy about humnaities first steps as an interplanetary civilization, convept I always wanted. It's made by a single dev so the limitations show, but the concept is something I always wanted, some mechanics are rather deep, LARP is fun, it's constantly updated, it's very addictive and most importantly it has SOVL. It's scheduled to realease this AugustNegatives-Mechanics are fairly deep but you can get away with surface level, at least for single playerSomewhat unintuitive when startingAI isn't particularly smart nor cares about what makes sense for the nationNot particularly balanced, some choices are significantly stronger than othersPacing feels, well, off

>>2403334Janky, boring slop made by a brainrotted /pol/ retard. Buy an ad.
>>2409963he's currently shilling on /v/ about how the based chud epically owns the trannies
>>2403334I wonder. Does the game have extrasolar planets already, or is Sol the only system for now?
>>2412401A few, but they don't have as fleshed out systems as Sol. Mostly you'll have either half a dozen basic planets and planetoids, or one gas giant with a moon, stuff like that. Part of the problem, I'm guessing, is we don't actually know for sure how many planets there are around these stars in real life, so they have to be made up, basically.
>>2403334I am curious to know how deep this goes right now and how deep it plans to go.When you take over another world, how are the borders formed? When rebellions inevitably happen, what parameters are relevant to the new state being generated besides maybe landmass? How does doctrine and culture of the state change as events transpire? Is any of it hard scripted? How in the worlds are they actually gonna get the AI to make both competent decisions and react naturally to the game state? This entire project seems almost too ambitious to truly achieve, especially for an indie game, but it's captured my imagination for sure.
