Battles and base building follow the standard rules for the genre but they have enough to set them apart from other titles to justify the game's existence.It's too performative in its diversity of characters though. Every faction needs to have a white, black and asian character which is fairly cringy and makes the factions less unique.

In hind sight, the usage is obvious but the game is designed to make you feel smart for finding ways to use spells correctly.Writing is entertaining so far. Surprised to see complaints about diversity. Only half way through the first campaign but MC is lawful neutral knight woman beheading prisoners of war. Feels like a /pol/ fantasy.
