Ironically battles are the main one I can sort of work around in my head as being days of maneouvreing and skirmishing followed by the actual battle itself. But I can imagine being alone on that one. It's just mainly silly that the things that should take days (e.g. illness or happenings at court) take place over months, while things that should take months or years (e.g. pilgrimages or other trips) take place over weeks.

is it true that in ck3, you can beat a whole army with just 8 individual champions/knights each with high martial or personal combat prowess?
depends on the army and the terrainif the opposing army is just like 700 levies with a shitty commander and no knights and they are in terrain with no defensive buff and meanwhile your knights have the same level of shitty commander and each of your 8 knights have like 8 prowess or more, then yes they'll very likely stackwipe the army without suffering so much as a minor injury to himselfnow if you take that whole formula but change only the levy number to like 3000, you're probably going to lose either half your knights or maybe everyonechange it to like 7000 levies and the knights will losenow let's say you savecummed as a pagan norse and you blobbed so hard that your top 8 viking champions (knights) are packing 20+ prowess each (because they're herculean and/or giants and some of them are vassal-champions getting martial lifestyle prowess buffs or intrigue lifestyle prowess buffs) and you put your best commander you got on that 8-man dragonball z squad, they'll probably beat a 10K levy stack that has a shitty 6 martial commander
