Crazy how WiC still looks good
>>

why does western equipment look so gay and soulless nowadays?
german gear and vehicles used to be iconic, and even british to an extent
I can understand american since they're golems, but who's left to carry nato military aesthetics? france and sweden?

m8 all that shit is from the 80s, there's nothing actually new in the nato arsenal

He didn't spend much time talking to his company about holding Ivan in place for the nuke. I understand it was for gameplay reasons, but it's morbidly funny for me to think he didn't actually talk to his surviving tankers before telling the Colonel that he'll do it.

We didn't deserve it, and of course Ubisoft pissed away Massive's talent.

why is it floating?
does the US have secret hovertank technology?
>>
>>2427607
I hate when US reveals new prototypes that either resurrect canned projects or mean to upgrade existing hardware, that pure sex, just to cann them right afterwards like with the Comanche successor
>>
Why did Ubishit abandon this franchise?
>>
So if Romanov didn't take his force to evacuate, Seattle would have been retaken by that final counterattack and a nuke would be dropped?
God I will never forgive ubishit for robbing us of WiC2.

abrams program start: 1963

Well armoured
Can transport infantry
Main armament is an autocannon that can obliterate infantry and destroy most light vehicles
Even has an ATGM for shooting guided missiles at tanks and heavier vehicles

Is the Bradley one of the most solid vehicles in modern military history?
>>
>>2427049
alright anons, let's list all the shit they'd ruin this game with if they made it today.
I'll start:

What would it even look like?
>>
>>2428982
Call of Duty: RTS. Just like WiC1
>>
>>2427049
this reminded me that it would be cool, if the game had an expansion type mod that would add the PLA as a playable faction.
>>
>>2428746
Its solid alright. Lackluster passenger capacity though,

An anon claiming to be a former massive dev posted a while back they were going to shift focus to korea for the sequel, then ubisoft bought them out and turned them into a tom clancy farm.

They were going to do that. It would have been a whole campaign. What happened was their publisher, Vivendi, fucking died around the same time so they got bought by Ubisoft.

>invasion of US fails
>Russia collapses into civil war
>China seizes the opportunity and occupies Vladivostok as a "peacekeeping force"
>continues to push into Siberia and Far East, ignoring US/NATO objections
>war-weary, NATO focuses on securing their border with Russia
>sensing this as an opportunity, North Korea launches a reunification campaign against South Korea
>despite giving the Norks support, China warns US to stay out of Korean affairs (I'm assuming more US troops in Korea were rotated to Europe/America during the war with the Soviets)
>US says fuck you and steams into the Yellow Sea with a combined battleship/carrier task force to relieve Seoul
>with their own stockpiles and anti-ship missiles seized from Vladivostok, China launches a massive attack on the task force
>several US ships sunk, USS Missouri badly damaged, thousands KIA
>China declares this the price of Western imperialism with no hint of irony
>US public outraged, recovering country instantly whipped into another war fervor
>Korea rapidly being pushed into Busan pocket, Dunkirk-style evacuation to Japan
>China launches invasion of Kyushu as US forces arrive in Japan
>campaign proceeds from there
Pic sorta related, US Patherjet attacking North Korea forces
>>
>>2428982
Russians need to be pushed out of Europe.
China invading Japan and Taiwan.
Maybe some Russian invasion in South America.
The franchise should always be Team Yankee plus Red Dawn.
>>
>>2429555
Missouri is sunk by a chink sub before the final battle in Seattle.
t. played the campaign way too many times
>>
>>2429555
Pretty sure South Korea was overrun by the Chinese during the first game.

Would be prime remake material

For me it was one of the windows updates that was the culprit. Once you remove it all is well, but that was back on Win 7

Direct sequel

Colonel Sawyer is promoted to 1-star general with his boss Colonel Wilkins becoming a 2-star
Major Negro remains the same
Captain Parker keeps his new rank
There's a couple of new Yuro commanders (token Bong and West Germoid this time)

They return to Germany where the tides have turned and push into Eastern Yurop straight into a 10-12 mission Russian invasion

Allied forces capture Moscow (final mission) but are slowed down everywhere so an armistice is signed

Major Negro sacrifices himself in the penultimate mission in the Urals/Caucasus where a combined NATO special operations force secure Puccia's nookz and disable their auto-nook deus ex machina from evil mustache twirling not!Putler main antagonist

Also a counterpart Soviet campaign featuring a new sympathetic Russoid commanded by the same Major Politburo guy and Captain Romanov, this time constantly defending and attacking invading NATO + Allied forces in the Russian far east; final mission is holding the line somewhere in Yakutia and then immediate ceasefire happens after pure carnage and then immediate Soviet surrender

Major Politburo dies to save both Romanov and the new rookie Russoid commander

>invasion of US fails
>Russia collapses into civil war
There's no sign that Russia is going down in civil unrest in the story though. It seems like the country is still united in support of the war. I think the sequel would've been set in another front instead, mainly Asia, as you said. Although, I doubt the game will depict the schism between the Soviet and the Chinese.
