I can't be the only one playing this poorly translated AI slop. The workshop is full of portrait mods to remove the freaky pale-skinned demons generated by the abominable intelligence, luckily. I've been addicted to it for like a week now. Luckily the important shit like hero traits and card effects seem to be hand-translated or at least have high scrutiny, I've only seen one or two awkwardly phrased things.

This game is alright until you play it a bit and it becomes too easy, so you move up to higher difficulties and discover you're just constantly statmogged by everyone else and can never use the training mechanic to train strong characters, so you have to cheese all your matches with broken shit. The AI also cheats and pre-calculates objective teamfights, and will never join them unless it'll win. So if the AI elects to fight you you know you've lost, so you have to disable opting out of fights which makes the game even more snowbally.

The most amusing part of this game is reading the update notes on Steam where the degenerate Chink techbro in charge calls out members of the design team that come up with unpopular changes (that he vets) and brags about cutting their wages as punishment. Business as usual in China.

I misremembered the details because it was a long time ago, but they drag the designer out later in this post and have him write an apology essay. It's extra funny and dystopian because they use these AI avatars of like gamer animals to represent themselves, so it's just a snake wearing a gaming headset apologizing. There's probably more crazy shit if you sort through their old notes, their more recent ones are just changes and not oversharing on the internals of their team. I saw another one when I was looking through them just now where their team apparently hadn't had a Saturday off for the last 3 years lmao.
