What are some good games for building a national/regional economy? Something with a more detailed and granular economy than Vic2 but more broad in scope than Workers and Resources. Ideally something without warfare, since that tends to dominate the game. But a game where I can build up my nations infrastructure, literacy, industry, etc.

Never played it, but from the gameplay it feels more like just building buildings than setting up a national economy.

no game like that exists
W&R is commie-themed Factorio while Vicky is Brittania-themed Cookie Clicker

maybe this title with no demo who releases in "2026" will be the game you're looking for
