>>2438306I feel like I was the very first shilling thisof and then suddenly everyone is talking about this. Like genuinely haven't even seen any small youtubers mentioning this. 0 results
>>2438326This past week a lot of youtubers have started covering this.
>>2438317>EOP Dev.It is a shame that these guys are so salty that this one weeb did what everyone has wanted for M2TW that their project couldn't fulfill or took ages to do.If they would get their heads out of their asses both teams could do so much.

Why is suddenly everyone some bizarre moralfag reeeeing about how editing executables is illegal? When did people get so buckbroken? Modders have been editing binaries since like always and even if they decompiled it it's whatever. Also maybe I could have expected normalfag zoomers to be like that but I would have through that medfags of all people are old and from a time people didn't give a shit about those sorts of things.

>>2438445v6? Did it release recently or what?
>>2438452Sorry it's the non v5 version that's not compatible because it uses eop. The devs of reforged are currently an updated m2ex version of their mod
>>2438423There was a similar reaction to the 4GB patch. It is part of the reason the DAC devs broke with TWCenter. Now that EOP and the DAC devs are one and the same they are pearl clutching over the exact same shit with this project. M2EX basically invalidates their work and they refuse to even try to make both projects work together. They can’t even make an argument to justify not embracing M2EX. It’s going to divide the modding community and EOP guys are going to look like fools in the end.
>>2438466The main eop developer says eop is 100% illegal okay chud? Now delete m2ex.exe from your hard drive before the fbi comes knocking
>>2438467This is such a weak response lol. DAC/EOP devs were always full of themselves
lol whats this schizoing from peopleno we didnt get our github deleted even onceno there was no virus in any of the EX versionsno we havent gotten banned from anywherei love all these basedfaced fucks who keep making up 90's MS-style FUD about REX and M2EX because they literally don't have a single actual argument against it

>>2440823>>2440832Rome is definitely a high point in the series but it leaves a lot to be desired. Medieval II basically took everything from Rome and made it better. I can't think of a single thing from Medieval II that wasn't a direct improvement on every single aspect of the older games.
Are there any mods that add infinite ammo to units only if they are defenders during a siege or make them able to restock ammo if they retreat back to the main square?I doesn't make sense to me that a unit fighting inside their own city/fort runs out of ammo as fast as the attacker.
Lots of drama going on, m2exchads are getting opinions on implementing a lua API so eop can work with it and the mods (ship, DAck etc), eop Devs are seething and dilating hard at this and threatening

Is there a way to reduce the AI cheating in units? While I'm not even able to recruit any decent units as Milan as I literally don't even have the town watches upgraded the AI (the venetian and sicilian fucks, who out of nowhere attack me) is coming around with full stacks of knights, archers and spearmen.I've only taken Florence and Ajaccio, the latter which I gifted the pope because I can't be assed to take care of an island right now.Somehow the AI deems this unforgivable transgressions. And the Papacy is useless as an ally, threatening to excommunicate me for daring to defeat their attacking armies while Venice and Sicily keep attacking without impunity.

>>2442064they did very very much so
>>2442059Claude Opus is fairly specifically a coding AI. I use it at work and I have almost entirely stopped typing out code by hand by now. I wouldn't call it vibecoding either, because I think that implies you don't really have a software engineering background and don't really understand what the resulting code does while I use more limited scope prompts defining in what way I want the things done because I just can't be bothered to type out code when it's self evident what it's going to be.I suspect he's coming from a similar place.
>>2442231>I have almost entirely stopped typing out code by hand by nowThat is the definition of vibecoding. You're prompting based on what you want (the "vibe") and the LLM shits out code based on that "vibe".
>>2442233I mean, I just don't think defined interface and control flow graph is just "vibes" because that generally means something vague and not defined, but I probably am an out of touch boomer by now and if that's what people say now who am I to argue I guess.
>>2442233NTAI think it's more dictating the logic to Claude instead of the general function or wanted result.Less "Drive me to location" and more "Turn here, slow down, next left, overtake that car."You're still 'in control' of the process and are checking that the AI does the right thing instead of just trusting in whatever it outputs.
>>2441578>>2441579The original is on GOG now. You don't have to buy the resharted version.
>>2442261Oh wait, I just read that this mod apparently only works if you have the Steam version. That's retarded and a bummer if so. I also hate that they make you join their d*scord to see their installation guide.

>>2442262pretty sure the install "process" is on GitHub
>>2442300Maybe puccian hackers from cs rin ru know how to run without steam
>>2442058I haven't played with M2EX yet myself but those extreme graphics don't look actually any different from the vanilla graphics. What's different is that in the vanilla game, you zoom out far enough and units will turn into sprites, then back into 3D units when close enough. Seems like this just removes that, which you could do with just a cfg file change before, not anything related to hex-editing the exe or whatever.Tbh there's a bunch of people trying to make claims about stuff M2EX supposedly changes that just aren't true. I saw someone trying to claim that shift-clicking the time lapse button in battle so you could change speed in increments of +/- 0.1 for slow motion was an M2EX feature. That's actually just vanilla too.
>>2442307actually my cpu is too old to play it too.

>>2442392Soon I hope. And iirc M2EX allows in game faction-renaming, so we maybe we could have formable nations and playing as new dynasties within the same faction (Fatimid - Ayyubid - Mamluk for instance)
>>2442349Honestly same, I'm not going to pretend I ever watched those cinematics with the spies or assassins but it really does detract from the feeling when you just see them instantly teleport to their target and either succeed or collapse and dieThose small audio effects like when a priest judges a heretic also don't play neither on the world map or when you open the news message and it gives it a sort of incomplete feeling
>>2442436I've grown attached to my laptop and I don't think I will switch to a new one until it breaks dawn or I get a really good deal or something.
>>2442392>>2442442Some smaller mods are looking into it (SSHIM). The problem now is that a lot of big mods have just spent 1-2 years adapting their games to EOP and are burnt out. Now that the EOP team has declared that they are not supporting M2EX they are holding half the modding community hostage in a sunk cost fallacy (Why switch when you have already spent hundreds of hours working on EOP? M2EX is going to get shit down, don’t switch) Your best bet is old mods being revived or new ones surfacing.
>>2442473Im looking forward to disciplines mod the most.
>>2442473That sucks. I wonder how difficult it'd be to mod in my own factions if I compromise by just using the existing map and settlements and units belonging to other factionsMaybe it's better to give it some time though, from what I've gathered it's still a fairly new tool so maybe the developers will eventually add more stuff to it
>>2442473I see it as only a matter of time until even the EOP mods switch, the advantages are simply too great. When it's proven CA doesn't care about M2EX there will be very little excuse for not switching to it.
>>2441882>Medieval 2 is fun as a kid but once you grow up and know the factions are all fantasyit's funny how many oldfags still pretend that the old TW games were some sort of history simulator, because of one mid show that ran on the same history channel that ran a series on how ancient aliens were totally a thing
>>2441882A nation being called something different than what it was in real life is one of those things that are at the absolute bottom of the list of things I care aboutI fucking hate how any game even SLIGHTLY /his/ related always ends up having these spergs who make it their life mission to let everyone know that the game isn't 'historically accurate' because an apple on a sigil has a leaf angled to the left instead of the right
>>2442574EOP devs control DAC and AGO. EUR is more open to it but the EOP crew is trying to convince them to not adopt it. Basically Fynn needs to retire or die for those mods to adopt M2EX.Tsardoms is open to adopting it but they just switched to EOP, although they are informing users how to uninstall EOP to use M2EX. >>2442884conversely, i don't think there's enough of an impetus for them to bother, but if they do, i think that's kind of a clear sign of an M2 remaster of some sorts

>can beat VH/VH England with 0 problems on vanilla>trying to do the same on M2ex is too difficult because the anti-player bias constantly wants me to engage in 2 (sometimes 3) ways warsHoly fuck, idk what to do really, my thought is to go as aggressively as possible because I can befriend the pope usually on Turn 5 with his diplomat showing up but I feel like Spain or Portugal keep making it their priority to attack either Reines or ship to Caen, I can't afford to fight wars on both sides especially because France is also declaring war on me earlier than I anticipate. Should I just be a bitch and drop the difficulty to Hard/Hard? I kind of always hated anti-player bias and think its a shit mechanic in not just this series but any strategy game.

Found a small mod that changes a few vanilla things called "concentrated vanilla".Basically it's supposed to make map movement faster, cavalry somewhat weaker, sieges much harder on attack, where you'll have to have proper siege units to take out towers or they'll slaughter your troops, with walls and gates being stronger.Minor stuff like that, but the absolute autist of a dev decided it would be best to have people compile the fucking mod themselves with ruby. How hard could it be?First jruby refuses to install itself since it can't find java, then I have to reinstall jdk because windows doesn't have the proper environment variables set. Finally I manage to install jruby only for the mod to fail to compile because the goddamn version with which you compile jruby has to fit the version which was used to create the mod.I can't install a Medieval 2 Total War mod because of a goddamn JAVA VERSION MISMATCH!What goddamn retard decides to make a mod that you have to compile yourself instead of delivering the finished files for a copy&paste job?

>>2445239We can find the answer in the Battle of Rocroi, 1643: artillery, and lots of it. Barring that, another pike-and-shot square and a prayer.>>2445271The animations were far jankier and buggy, so it took far more time for a matchlock unit to get into formation and shoot. If you moved them, you were fucked; if you ordered them to attack and the enemy unit went to the side thus needed to pivot, you were fucked; and if you lost any men on the front line to enemy fire, you were ALSO fucked because they wouldn't shoot until everyone was in position. What M2EX has done, beyond smoothing considerably the animations, is allowing for individual men to shoot independently from the rest of the unit. I don't know how they managed that, but it works. I'll upload later another webm to show how skirmishing with matchlock works.
>>2445239In normal gameplay? Just send in your own ranged units and the stacked units will get shot to shit. For a mod you could just change the balance to make the pikes deal slightly less damage or give heavy units higher armor values so they actually survive the attack on the pikes and try to get in close.
>>2445047>>2445070Hope all the 17th century mods use thisRight now, pike and shotte is entirely reliant on pikemen's swords and horse (pistols) since the animations are so buggy
>>2445239Crossbowmen or archers, whose approach you screen with some other low value unit.Gunpowder units can't do indirect fire, so just let your ranged units rain projectiles on them until the sacrificial unit is shot to shit and then they can direct fire massacre the pike and shot formation.

>>2445272Has any Lord of the Rings mod decided to move to M2EX over EOP yet? I know DAC is staying for the forseeable future.
>>2445386Shouldn't the last official third age mod version be fully compatible with M2EX?Given that most modern lotr mods rely heavily on scripts in order to work around the engine limitations it's probably far easier to start from scratch and utilize M2EX new features to the fullest
>>2445354Most pike and shot mods remove the secondary weapons for pikemen.
>>2438832lmao that massive charge and everyone just stands back up.
>>2445283>>2445366These are all good tips... for vanilla M2. Not so much for M2EX with its fixed matchlocks. Firearms have longer range than bows and crossbows, higher damage, higher penetration than crossbows, and FAR higher morale impact. The only thing they lose is indirect fire, but it deals so little damage (specially with crossbows) that it is irrelevant, even more so when in late medieval era everyone has a shit-ton of armor.Take a look at these results. Two arquebusiers, versus two Genovese pavise crossbowmen in the first battle, and versus two retinue longbowmen in the second. All without upgrades. They get CREAMED by the arquebusiers. So, having them in the front lines is not an option, since the arquebusiers can fire with maximum effectiveness while under the cover of pikes (see the Tercio webm above). And if you try and use chaff as screen, they'll get torn to shreds, and now you have a morale malus for your entire army AND your crossbowmen and archers are now vulnerable to cavalry.I'm very sorry, but the moment firearms enter the battlefield (not counting hand cannons, of course) the age of the arrow and the bolt is over.
Bonus track: firing in skirmish mode, showing how they fire individually.
>>2445557But we're not talking about a 1-on-1 fight. It's about how to deal with arquebusiers supported by tercios. What if you do arq+terc against some unit with shield with crossbows behind them?
>>2445570how do you activate fire by rank? even if i spread them out like that they fire and then shuffle back.
>>2445570i didnt even know they could fire by rank
How hard would it be to mod in shotgunnners?Instead of firing one shot, they fire a dozen lower damage shots.Have them be a small unit of fast flankers, maybe a quarter as big as the others, but devastating at short range.
>>2445573Give me an army composition, and I'll put it to the test. For now, here you have tercio and arquebusier versus broken lances and genovese pavise crossbowmen.>>2445577Skirmish mode. And don't forget that only the first two lines will fire. If you have to put your unit in three or more lines, or if you put them in front of a pike unit, the shuffle is better. And the latter case, put guard mode on, so they keep formation at all times even if they engage hand-to-hand.
>>2445047I just shot my pike all over my screen
>>2445557The fuck are you even talking about? Did I say that you should use archers? You use your own cannon and Arquebusiers /Musketeers.The double stacked units will take higher casualties so you trade far better and win. Arquebusiers also win against most traditional ranged units even in vanilla so I have no idea why you are treating this as some massive revolution. Also if the M2EX actually fixed fire by rank it would make units with deeper ranks fire faster while thin ranks would have to wait until the next ranks has reloaded .
could the dev implement native vulkan into engine instead directx? does he plan anything like that?
>>2445630All right, all right, be chill my friend. I assumed you meant archers and crossbowmen like the other anon, so it's my bad.For the record, everything you said in this post is true. Double stacked units take far more casualties (you can see that in the post above, how being double stacked the tercio+arquebusiers suffered quite a lot of casualties from a single unit of genovese crossbowmen), and cannon is the natural counter against pike-and-shot.One thing though. As I mentioned, fire by rank only works in skirmish mode AND only for the first two ranks. It is the "shuffle", as another anon called it, that works with three or more ranks. And yes, they fire faster (up to a limit, of course) the deeper the ranks.
>>2445633But do they actually fire faster with more more ranks? If you have three ranks, each rank might fire faster, but the ranks themselves are smaller. It really depends on the cycle time until every unit has fire once, and i think two ranks cycle much faster than three.
>look third age extended mod>see this> ALSO BIG PRAISE FOR THE DEVELOPERS OF THE EOP TOOL WICH TURNED MEDIEVAL 2 IN THE GAME WE ALWAYS DREAMNT!Man they are really trying hard to shill an outdated tool that causes more problems than it fixes.
>>2445634It's simple, we put it to the test. Two battles, two arquebusiers versus knights and we see who kills more before contact.First battle, shuffle two ranks. Second battle, shuffle three ranks. And the results are...Remarkably similar. Very slight advantage for the two rank shuffle, but the three rank shuffle ain't that bad either. Very interesting results, indeed.
And another webm, this time with pikes attacking; here we see the famed "push of pike", and it is as expected terribly lethal for both sides. Also, as we can clearly see, the superior Tercios got massacred by the French pikemen. Why? Because of depth of rank; more ranks, more offensive power. It didn't work like this in vanilla M2, but it does now. After several tests, my conclusions are as follows: Minimum ranks for maximum effectiveness (that is, how many pikes can attack at the same time) is five. But, since we start to lose many men during the push of pike, to avoid the center of giving in the ideal depth of rank when fighting another pike unit is ten. Yes, TEN RANKS, if you want to stand a chance. Insane, but that's how they rolled in real life, believe it or not. The Macedonian phalanx had between 16 and 32 ranks, and the Thebans when they spanked Sparta's ass at Leuctra went with 50 ranks. So there it goes.

>>2446494>This series is called Total WarI've seen this argument a lot over the last several years of me trying to get into the various Total War games, and it makes me wonder why they give players the option to develop their provinces at all in these games beyond fortifications if you're only ever meant to play in a play style that would simply ignore building those province improvements at all. In a prior thread I asked about building things that increased province income, and someone said that conquering new territory yields better income than developing your provinces every time. If it's like that, why not just remove all these things you're not meant to do and make the game have some simple Risk-like mechanic for recruiting new units without everything else? It'd give the devs more time to focus on making the battles better too.>>2446508Cool, I might try again with med 2 then with this mod on. I didn't check, but if this mod works with the expansions that'd be cool too, since I'm in the mood to try one of the DLC campaigns.
>>2446516The motherfuckers that go "it's called Total War" are usually S1/M1 fans, and do, in fact, want to go back to the simpler Risk-style maps with bare-bones economy and diplomacy. Answering your question, yes, M2EX is compatible with Kingdoms. When you install it, you'll find four .bat files inside the game folder. They initialize each of the four campaigns. I made desktop shortcuts for them, for ease of use.
Played M2EX and REX for a bit. Its shit. Units seem to be getting stuck in sieges WAY more often now. Units won't listen to you at all sometimes when they're engaged, you have to command them to move seven or eight times before they finally do something. With cavalry, its obvious since they'll keep on wanting to run back into an engagement after charging. Diplomacy oscillates between stubborn and pushover. Impossible to get a ceasefire with France when playing as England, but for some reason Portugal decided to besiege in Caen (they weren't even allied with France either) and I could peace out with them next turn. Other than that, other faction diplomats beeline to you to offer trade rights and map info at the start, allies will 100% backstab you still. Family tree got all fucked up, no names listed on anything. When I fought a siege with a General Edgar, it titled him King Richard in the battle when hovering over the unit. Setting grass and vegetation detail to the highest setting utterly tanks my FPS.As well as that, I've heard bodyguard units for generals get randomly picked too.

Am I homosexual if I want them to add a replenishment mechanic Empire style?
A few ideas, no idea how hard they would be to implement. The ability to release captured units with a guaranteed payout.Normally asking for a ransom gives a chance to get paid.It should be possible to release prisoners but confiscate and sell their gear for a smaller payout. You get neither dread nor chivalry for it.High dread generals should also get paid if they execute prisoners and for everyone fallen in battle, ally or enemy.Normally people wouldn't touch the gear of the fallen due to fear of miasma infecting them, but the general intimidates them enough so that they do so anyway. The florins received should scale with dread and at full dread the money should be half the training cost of a unit.So for every two men killed you would on average get enough to train a new one.If you constantly slug it out and lose as many men as the enemy you would still earn enough to refill your units basically for free. But then there is the upkeep you pay for the time it takes to retrain them and you don't actually get all that much.So at the end of it all fighting someone just lowers your army upkeep for this turn. The army truly earns their keep.High chivalry should replenish part of your units when you release prisoners without confiscating their gear. You are so chivalrous that some of the released men decide to join your ranks. The higher your chivalry the more your units refill. So while dread reimburses your for fighting, making fielding your armies somewhat cheaper and also causes enemies to break faster giving even more dosh for captured soldiers, chivalry keeps your own armies from breaking and at peak condition by refilling them with volunteers from the released prisoners.

>>2449335I would rather have very slow automatic replenishment for elite like 1-3 guys per turn, and and maybe 5-10 for militia, so that way you can keep units lifespan for longer, but no so much so that you still need to relay on merging units and recruit crap / mercenaries to fill the gaps.Empire replenishment made stuff too easy a lot of times, it was basically having a whole new army in 2 turns. Like for example, imagine playing GB in the Americas theater, instead of having to relay on militia and native mercenaries, you can just use a few thousand gold and 2 turns, and you 20 stack of line infantry you shipped from Europe is full again. Is just one of those weird things Empire introduced and could have been great if made correctly, but were left completely bare bones and ended up being too meh or downright usless. And I say this as someone who started with Empire and still love it despite being probably the worst old total war of them all

Happened with Nintendo from memory.Proprietary licenses for this shit is just a scam to enable lawyers to make loads of dough from IP law anyway. That's why a lot of the modding and cracks that actually made some older games playable often came from former communist countries.

>>2450019A (back)port of a port. No wonder CA apologists get their panties in a twist when actual improvements like M2EX are made
>>2450252>Feral InteractiveBut how is a professional studio incapable of making a proper port which runs as fast as bunch of unpaid amateurs in their spare time? Whats their excuse besides being completely incompetent retards who should be forever blacklisted from making games.
>>2441882The mods are the real meat of the game and the historical ones are all quite accurate and have long biographies and events explaining history as you go through the game. So yes, medieval 2 is the history enjoyers game. Also why would you mention nu total war when none of their shit is historical and they have generals soloing an entire army . Seems like you dont even care about the history and just want to play warhammer total war guilt free. Which you are welcome to do so away from this thread.
>>2450275They never did an amazing job, the just ported the game to mobile and fixed the bare minimum. Its probably even worse when you realize they got access to actual source code. The only thing commendable that the ports have is that they were forced to modernize some stuff to make it work, making it relatively better than vanilla, otherwise, they would have copy pasted the EXE in android and called it a day. All modern mobile development is pajet slop of the worst kind.Playing Total War on a phone or tablet is retarded to begin with, the only reason I even gave a shit about Feral to begin with is because it was realistically the only chance for a remaster of Med 2 till now.I genuinely hope someone in the future works on a cracked version of Empire and both CA and Feral get fucked
>>2450282>generals soloing an entire armyThe only mainline non-WH game that has hero units is 3K and you could always play records where they are just cavalry like in other games from the start. Even troy went back on it post-release (well unless you want to play the full fantasy mode anyway) and pharaoh is bodyguard only. They change based on gear, but it's a normal unit on battlefield.
Historyfags are obnoxious. All of le ebin historical mods that autismos cream their pants over have always been a bloated mess, mostly unplayable due to broken scripts, long ass turn times and frequent crashes, and ugly UI elements and unoptimized shitty graphics.
>>2450282Mods being the meat of the game is faggot thinking. Nobody would care about the mods if the base game wasnt fun.
>>2450323it's the same with gunfags.>why didn't you include assault rifle #315-5/2 that was produced in the months of june and july of year x by nation y? it had a screw on a slightly different location compared to the /1 variant. looked the same and had same stats but you should've included it if you wanted to make a proper gun-mod.
>>2441012honestly, the remaster is better
>>2449437From what I gathered M2EX as a project is separate from the campaign mod in this video but their discord server has a channel to 'discuss' the latter and it's basically just this >>2450323 >>2450357 with people writing hundreds of messages about how the various Aztec tribes need to be accurately portrayed It's dead, Jim
So how does this work? Is it really based on some sourcecode leak?
for me it's imperium surrectum
hey anons, the gigacampaign is under m2ex but dw I didnt descend into historyfagging or anything, normal updates will continue as usual. It's made by a bunch of other people who joined, they're more traditional modders I guesswe'll see whether it will work out or not ;)I've just finished porting the game to dx11 and optimising it atm, yall will be able to run muuuch larger battles without spritefagging (i.e. extreme settings) on a playable frameratealso, a wee spoiler for vst: 40units/new UI are coming ;))
>>2450412is that Shogun stuff your doing or is it some anon baiting? also, will you eventually bother fixing Alexander?

Has anyone got M2EX running on linux with proton? REX works well but M2EX refuses to launch no matter what proton version I use.

>>2450711I thought my haswell didn't support it because im lazy and asked llm and it lied to me.
>>2449915>>2450641I mean with projects like this there is a risk they will C&D you or something and it's a loss for the community when it happens, but people still go ahead with it. There's no need to simp for the corporation ahead of time and go>reeeee, this is illegal, I'm calling the police, it's made by evil hackers, aiyeee corpoman save me, someone is making unauthorised changes to 20 year old videogame.Where's the spirit of freedom. Also I kinda doubt good goy omegashill like lionheart would be covering it without getting a go ahead from a handler at CA.

The fundamental problem with this project is its being developed by someone who fundamentally fails to understand what the game is supposed to play like or why its fun or what the community actually values. Thats why the updates keep veering into bizarre gamebreaking territory like the retarded rotating campaign map camera or the ugly minimap or even gameplay balance changes like the unlimited diplomat actions or the noninstant building demolitions or the OP spear units. Even worse when the actual players ask for a simple toggle to disable these (((fixes))) the response is pure arrogance.

Is it true the M2EX dev is literally vibecoding the entire thing with AI?
>>2452177Yeah, every time someone tells him to stop taking changes too far he gets defensive and hostile. Feels like the original releases will need to be locked into a vault before it ends up feeling like a different game.

>>2452035bruh its like 80% off equivalent to 3 dollars a couple of days ago
Seems like the dev posts here, I have one request: could you add "fair" difficulty, a difficulty where neither AI nor the player get any bonuses or disadvantages.
>>2452397isn't that just Medium?
Problem with history mods is that they are mainly concerned with historicity which 1, doesn't always make for a fun game and 2, they often get history wrong like cavalry being naught unbeatable in stainless steel.
>>2452399Medium gives you heavy advantages. Rebels don't attack your cities and the AI can't hire mercenaries.
>>2452397sure thing, sounds like a really cool feature :) will add it in the next release!
>>2452177what are you talking about, you can just not rotate the camera, the minimap is very customisable in the prefs, multiple actions for agents are qol, the building demolitions are also customisable (timed / instant / disable entirely), OP spear units were a compiler bug and not an actual change, fixed already
>>2452426Unlimited diplomat actions arent “quality of life” you mong they change the core gameplay loop>you can just not change the cameranot when you create universal key bindings to rotate it randomly when my finger slips oh yeah and if you spent 5 mins or one claude prompt wrapping your (((improvements))) in an if else if block we wouldn’t even be having this discussion in the first place also quit acting like you know what the game should play like better than the people who spent decades actually playing the game really you talk so much shit about feral when you’re following their exact footsteps by implementing (((improvements))) no one asked for without giving the players an option to go back to what they prefer

>>2452712actually it's in vanilla too but when i first installed it was working, maybe something corrupted my game files, but I haven't done anything unusual.
>>2452608>>2452685Lead of EOP. He has his fingers in most major active mod projects and has been working on getting most mods to adopt EOP. With the arrival of M2EX, he has forbidden M2EX integration with EOP. So now most mods will never be able to use M2EX unless they drop EOP.
>>2453010Such a snake. Instead of joining forces to help with the superior project fynn and the eop trannoids are doubling down over some fantasy that if m2ex gets popular and taken down CA will take down eop too, pure fantasy land and egotistical trannies. They even cry and piss their pants about a m2ex EOP compatibility layer
>>2453451If being taken down is not concern then why implement steam drm?

>>2454068Realistically nothing because I get the impression that at this point in time most people have a single mod they primarily use and just stick to exclusively playing that
