i hate monica
>just enact these clearly tyrannical feminist policies in every playthrough
>in the middle of a depression by a vehement nationalist man since university who promised to protect national values
Why couldn't you pick a wife or not marry at all in the prologue, she seems fit only for a red youth play through and just shoehorned into other scenarios. why can't i fire ministers while at it? I want Symon to run education, interior and the econ at once, probably leave the country to him as an appointed successor if possible.
Imagine amassing a harem of women from every neighbor as a part of diplomacy. Housebreaking the queen with 2 kids seems like a great reward for the player desu.
Haven't played the expansion yet, can you go full absolutist? monarchs are pussies in this game, the queen shot my plane down so i shot hers to call on to not nato which i joined and lespia and agnolia to destroy the rum subhumans with ease but noo, she just bitched out at the not UN
>>

Why did her reforms cost so much money? Was Ciara stuffing some away or did Gus and Rusty have some kind of a ponzi scheme going on? We're in the middle of a goddamn recession!
>>

In my first playthrough of Rizia i created a Theocracy with myself as Holyking/Pope and failed an invasion. Though Rizia is probably alot more complicated then Sordland its also more fun
>>
Originally you were supposed to be able to cheat on her with the Central Bank chairwoman. And the Rumburg war wasn't supposed to be this half assed either. The game is full of unfinished and cut content because lasy ass devs who take multi year siestas.

Yes, you can go absolutist as Rizia. And you get a non-gimped chudwife option. As for Monica, I divorce that wretched whore in every run. Sorry bitch, too busy oppressing Bluds. DECLINED. A MORGNA WES CORE!

It really does make zero sense that you can be an open member of a fascist organization like the Young Sords and then your libtard wife acts surprised that you act like a chud for some reason lol.

skill issue. just tell her you're going to do her retarded shit in private and then actually do none of it. then when she asks for an explanation for why you didn't do it tell her the time just wasn't right. she totally buys it like the idiot she is, it's kino honestly.

you have to lose the war, you get the führerbunker ending
iirc you can either give Monica and Deana cyanide pills and die with them in bunker or lock them inside and go back to the presidential palace with Iosef, he gives you his service pistol and goes out like a hero gunning down a whole squad of rummies and suicide bombing into another, you can do the same and go out shooting, calmly sit in the presidential office adjust your tie and blow your brains out or you surrender like a bitch and get tortured and killed by Queen Beatrice
also if you funded the Young Sords you can call Valken and he'll pull a Steiner(they all get massacred)

honestly it's way more depressing than the nuclear war ending
>>
>>2440001
This is why the dlc is far superior to the base game. Much better choices
>>

is theocracy cool or ultra larpy? rizia's religion is pretty libtard so it seemed silly to me to try to become the theocrat of episcopalianism basically

the biggest dead giveaway is that she's hot though that would mean there was cut content for "i can fix her"-core cheating with ciara too

There should be a schzio ending where you can choose to rape Beatrice in the surrender wagon after reminding her who her suzerain is.
>>
>>2441356
it can be fairly fun, even though you can be very reformist with it you can essentially ban/oppress most other religions if you go full in with wruhecism, plus if you go all the way with Sal i think he will claim you are part of some divine plan.

One of the issues with Sordland, and the wider Suzerain lore, is that you are playing as Turkey but a utterly butchered version of it with other nation's cultures and histories mushed in. You cannot larp as House of Cards because you live in a banana republic and you cannot larp as literally Hitler without it feeling weird and disjointed in parts. No matter what rp you run with, it always comes back to Turkey. I also want an option to execute Soll in the name of Luderin, monarchy larping would also be cool even if you are a Lord Protector with some retarded kid as a figure head.
>>2440001
Monica is genuinely, unironically, a awful wife and really shitty feminist. She doesn't care about Bl*d women getting slapped and she seems to really just want the movement to be about her instead of the actual strong women like Not!Thatcher in the USP. That whole plot is shitty to be honest as about half the most powerful characters in game are women and the best one is a genocidal girlboss who's nukemaxxing. Also it is kind of fucked how you can only get custody of Deana in the emergency run with Hawker still alive, seems like you should be able to force that issue in Dictator or even in Emergency with Hawker LongKnived.
>>2440237
>>2441360

Sordland should have really got that war game that Rizia got. Also are they developing a DLC or what?
>>
>>2442384
The running rumour is that they are making a commie dlc for Galmland. It could be good but I'm guessing the devs will either fellate the ideology as they sort of do to Cortana and Valgsland or act as though social democracy is the only way forward and that Stalin's success was a fluke. Allegedly we might also be playing a woman. Personally I hope with the dlc they set up a quicker system of setting past choices because I don't like playing Rizia without my own set Sordland history but between updates and the time needed its burdensome. Something like setting Sordland to go broke and get invaded versus having them be rich and neutral or what alliance they join. Like the hoi4 country path gamerule.

Did they ever add to an absolutist Rizian playthrough regarding the military? I know religion is important but I don't remember the Azaros(?) going anywhere other then the marriage. It would be cool to form a Clerical Fascist state in Rizia, rather then just "King do what King do". >>

Dictator where you get impeached and join NFP
>>

How does that work? Do you lose power or are you simply kicked out of the party as President? Also would Kibenar really just accept being second fiddle? He is too much of a fox for that.
>>
>>2445150
Kibener becomes the president and you become his VP. It's the most based option since he institutes racial laws and you get rid of sollists once and for all.
>BUT I DONT WANT TO LOSE POWER REEEEE
Any true leader must prioritise country's wellbeing over petty ambitions.
>>
>>2445156
That is fair and honestly I think Kibenar would be a very good leader. I'm not sure the family situation of Rayne though in this supposed NFP run, especially since Deana's custody is locked behind leaving Hawker alive for some reason. Do you have to avoid the war to get this ending because I just don't see the USP impeaching you if you won it.
>>
>>2445164
>I'm not sure the family situation of Rayne though in this supposed NFP run
I never got divorce no matter what I did on any of my runs because I picked the correct dialogue options so I'm not familiar with this storyline.
>Do you have to avoid the war to get this ending because I just don't see the USP impeaching you if you won it.
Obviously. You also need to not form SSP since it also locks you out of impeachment
>>
>>2446032
I'm not sure about that then, it seems like the better larp is emergency, ban the reds, make the deal with the Young Sords to kill the Old Guard, legalize guns for the death squads and send the military to crush the bluds with a successful solo Rumburg war to top it off. This and the dictator capitalist ATO Rayne rank top for me.
>>

Funny, I got the divorce every single time despite my best efforts. I never figured out how to trigger the lesser bill.
>>
>>2446506
Rumburg is based and allying with them is the best option and USP is gay and I hate everyone there. No matter what you do on emergency you could never top the NFP presidency which will always be the most positive option since you aren't stuck with the baggage of leading a republican third world socialist party filled with feminists and can rehabilitate the legacy of Luderin and maybe restore the monarchy in the future.
>>2447443

it changes with every update too. last I played two years ago the devs had hyperfixated on synergy bonuses, so you basically just need to maxx development in one or two regions and one or two industries. don't try to spread out development evenly. and generally build the high speed rail, it mogs the road except in certain edge cases. and don't be a retard and go into massive debt or run massive unspent surpluses for no reason (no clue why some people do this but you will be punished)

I think at this point economy in base is more just pick an ideology and economy model and stick to it to the bitter end based than anything actually economic based.

My last playthrough I followed a guide that nationalised Sordlands 2 biggest companies, arrested the Oligarchs, flirted with UNC, raised taxes, Gus quit in disgust while people called me a Malyvenist at the end and got the most ridiculous economy I've ever seen
>>
>>2447629
>Just roll over backwards hand the hostile expansive neighbouring power everything they want
All they ask for is -2 budget and a trade deal which is much cheaper than funding the military.
>exchange for vague promises she'll leave you alone
You become their top supplier of energy so they couldn't go to war with you even if they wanted to since it would devastate them economically and they already achieved all their geopolitical aims.

There is literally no outcome where Sordland survives the next decade unless it reconciles with Rumburg. Since the setting had no prior world war, there isn't that much stopping the superpowers from attacking each other, so a nuclear world war is almost inevitable. So Sordland is nuked if it joins either of them. Otherwise, if Sordland stays neutral but beats Rumburg in a war or gets it sanctioned by the AN, it will still get nuked by Rumburg the moment they get their shit together and come for revenge or when the AN inevitably stops giving a shit about this issue.
>>
>>2447964
Thats why you build a moon colony after the war. Rumburg cant reach you and you can threaten to start dropping space rocks on their heads if they misbehave

So I just got the Rizia DLC. I hit chapter 2 and realized that not only can I not peacefully annex Pales because I was rude to their president fifteen years ago, but that in order to get half the oilfield in arbitration, I need to splurge on bribing governments around the world. I haven't built a single military building yet. I'd have married my daughter off to the guy like a broodmare if I had a choice. Do I have to read a guide to navigate this circus? I love the idea of these games very much, but it seems like one of those games that really wants you to play it one highly certain way. Not going to be entertaining building a prosperous nation with a not-monoculture government type when I'm learning to hit a combination of conversation choices that look like a Mortal Kombat 1 finishing move.

I could easily see a Sordish victory leading to the fall of Queen Beatrice and a power struggle that sucks up all of Rumburg's energy. Especially if all of its neighbours have a vested interest in seeing Rumburg caught up in internal issues forever.
Maybe even becoming a failed state or suffering a civil war if it gets too bad.

Neither the crazy old man or ice queen bitch of Morelia are anywhere near as bad as Lespia or ATO. For fuck's sake they should have made them at least a bit likable. Lespians will fuck you over at every opportunity in both campaigns and joining ATO literally makes you a cuck.
Meanwhile old man gives you ships, ports, trade, freshly mined Lespian salt and military support all in exchange for punishing the Agnolian retard trying to strongarm his much stronger and only ally, or for fucking over Lespia.
I mean fucking hele, Homo-Taliban are better and more useful allies.

I doubt it's locking you out entirely due to that, though you really shouldn't have been mean to Chadxel if you wanted to play nice with Pales.

I wouldn't go that far but Rumburg is the only country who has a chance of standing against globohomo and by removing them you leave the world to be divided by "I can't believe it's not NATO" and "I can't believe it's not USSR" which is a terrible world to live in.

Sub 100 IQ retards see that you can form your faction or defeat rumburg in a war and assume that's the best option because it makes them feel good, completely ignorant to the fact that you just created a much weaker and shittier Rumburg 2.0 where instead of politically aligned monarchies you have third world dictators who hate eachothers guts. The best option for Sordland is to become a senior partner to Rumburg like Lespia is to nato or valgsland is to ussr and split the world together but that would require actual thinking and coming to terms with geopolitical realities instead and there's no feelsgood larp involved
>>
>>2448256
You can have a conversation with Alphonso about this, although he says Rumburg is a bit too close to Arcasia to act as a stabilising third power globally. But I agree being the Lespia of Grace is the best outcome you can achieve economically. Anything else you do, you become either the third guy in some other alliance or you ally only with poverty nations. With the Rums, you have a huge market that is mostly unavailable to both Lespia and Valgsland. In the Rizia campaign, at one point Alvarez begs you to speak up to Rumburg so they can get into an arrangement like Sordland can, so it's definitely a desirable deal.

>Sordland and Rumburg
Honestly I am a massive fan of GRACE as a concept due to the sheer kino of a personal nato/warsaw pact between monarchs against liberals and commies but I don't really see a good reason for Sordland to be part of it. From a Rizian perspective I am a Beatrice cunt kisser till I die but Rumburg and Sordland are just incompatible imo. They hated each other even when they were both monarchies and they are really each other's natural enemies based on geography and history. Maybe if you had an option to fully chud out as a Young Sord Rayne and privately tell her you are working on restoring the monarchy then the pieces would fall into place for a harmonious relationship against shared ideological enemies and membership into GRACE but that would require an additional path/content made for a dictator Rayne that I doubt the devs (lame) will ever do. There is definite possibility for a very cool story there but until that happens then Sordland is better off either forming an alliance with their local retards to deter Rumburg or joining one of the superpower blocs. An actual war is bad just from the amount of instability that will add into Sordland's already instable mix. Imagine the Rummish equivalent of the BFF. I do like Rumburg personally though, even if I do think the devs have done the British-Russian mix poorly.

This was totally wrong and I lost. I then confirmed it was the Gendarmerie through save editing so the game thought I had it and magically all the battles went my way.

I also find it unfortunate that the game punishes good planning by only allowing one ultra synergy. If you qualify for multiple it goes down a priority list.

It's actually a hoi4 visual novel mod in disguise including their defining feature of arbitrary fail states. It doesn't matter what the numbers for the economy say, if you go the dictator path you HAVE to join vagsland marxist OR go full solist with no in between or you just hit a lose screen. if you don't do either of those in dictator mode you caqn also appease Rumberg at every opportunity and then surrender the backwaters in the west but I suspect Lucian and not Tulsi Gabbard coup you if you do that, though I haven't tried it out yet.

The Rizia DLC has great combat but even if you roll palehhhs over and kill 5+ tanks with just infantry per turn the entire international community sanctions you which gives you -20 income by the end and kills your nation no matter what. I'm not sure what the point of that is but I'm sure if you mathed it out you could possibly win it with Rumbergs' helpies.

None of the routes are documented so figuring what redditors missed IS the fun game.
>>
>>2449188
This is what I'm going through, very arbitrary lose cases. I'm playing Rizia, I kissed that Turkish carpet salesman's ass all game and I have to make a trade deal with him, and no matter what I do he just walks out. I love the idea of this game, but it assumes I have an absolutely staggering amount of free time. My weekends are short and I know I wasted this playthrough. Does anybody know what redditor tier hand wringing horseshit I have to do to make this happen?

I'd presume you can just do ctrl+f do the Wehlen stuff and ignore the rest but this game links the weirdest variables that can fuck up if you do something slighly different so not fully sure. The general theory is kiss his ass and have a strong enough military to force his hand, there's probably a way to be a total dick and have overwhelming force as well.
>>
>>2449714
You can't appease them as a dictator doe
>>
>>2449732
Yes you can. Your political system doesn't matter, only how you act towards them and your choice of allies (making allies with wehlen or agnolia blocks reconcilliation for obvious reasons). I even joined NATO and still got reconcilliation, I think joining USSR also works but I haven't checked.
>>
>>2449737
>(making allies with wehlen or agnolia blocks reconcilliation for obvious reasons)
Why the fuck doesn't david whatshisface tell us this.
What a useless fuckass traitor of an advisor. I was in a call with my buddy talking about your post and he was like "oh yeah dude of course he would tell you to fuck your relations up with rumberg and wouldn't even tell you it's an option, he's an anti monarchist."
>>
>>2449738
David and his father are retarded idealist Republicans, his father died in prison because he was too trusting to build a country but was political enough to tear one down. Genuinely annoyed that you have to be polite to him even if you are a Young Sord. Though it is unfair, an argument can be made that his father caused the civil war in Sordland by destroying the monarchy rather then reforming it to be constitutional. No King equals no system equals Commie and Fascist generals ready to build their own. If the Democrats can get rid of the Monarchy then the military can get rid of the Democracy.
>>
pretty much all the sordland advisors are trash except for symon and karl
>>
>>2449718
So I fucked with this for hours and I think I've found some kind of base logic behind it. The Wehlen trade deal has 1) the trade deal scale between positives and negatives, 2) the behind the scenes variable for how much their president likes you, AND 3) a separate leverage variable that influences but is not the same as the scale tipping in #1. I fired off pharmaceutical industry before the meeting, then asked why I would want his opioids, and my scale was more favorable, but what was extremely interesting was that I moved the scale lower than I had it at before and he went from marching out to asking for Rico. Fuckin' wonky programming.
>>
>>2449860
Which is why you need to switch to NFP. Imagine what their ministers would be like
>>
>>2449860
Paskal is pretty good at his job he's even open to privatisation long run his reforms probably have the biggest positive effect, and Gus isn't terrible his Gruni investment is pretty good for synergy bonus (also he's great at investment tips), I'll even say Nia is pretty good at running the justice department unless you're trying to subvert democracy.

>>
>>2450619
You are the deepstate in suzerain in the Sordland campaign bro. peter vectern, lucian, gus manger, karl, and anton rayne are the VERY DEFINITION of the deepstate embezzling money and fucking over the entire country no matter what they do. When I first played through the game I kept trying to assume that nothing was wrong with the country and there was no shadowy cabal out to get everyone because everyone had individual motivations that made sense. Then I made one backdoor deal after another and suddenly the economy was collapsing and I was dunking peter in a vat of acid. Then I had a moment where I said out loud "Ohhhh. I just suicided epstein". EVERYTHING you do is at the expense of everyone else in the Sordland campaign and you are not the most intelligent person to govern.

This is in extreme contrast to the dlc where it's basically impossible to lose. You're king and everyone loves you and you make the best decisions for everybody because your family stands to benefit.

In my heart I'm with Hegel, but Sordland is incapable of imitating Valgsland. Its culture is too reactionary and its deepstate too entrenched. It needs an orthodox Malenyevist dictator to crush its deepstate and carry out a Mao-style cultural revolution so that the place won't do a 180 if people are allowed democracy again.

Yeah, though I guess it should have been obvious that the socialist country dlc would be really progressive, they had a homo-taliban and a gay marriage bill in Rizia and the franchise has always had women in places of power (even military power), so of course the dlc would make the country led by a woman with a racially diverse government and populace.

I think it will be more Cuba judging by the racial diversity and bright tropical colours of the clothes, ships and environment, along with the island nature of Galmland. I'm guessing female Fidel but I do doubt that we will be able to be as based as the actual Castro when it comes to social issues. It will be interesting to play a smaller nation that is communist from the start but I think there is a real opportunity for a good story following Malenyev's death and us playing the successor. To my understanding he is a Lenin figure due to him being the actual original revolutionary who unlike Lenin lived long past his power struggle. We could be anything from Stalin to Khrushchev to Xiaoping.

Rumburg is basically just Tzarist Russia
if that doesn't clue you in on the incredible depths of their military incompetence not sure what will
>>
>>2454146
Tsarist Russia mixed with some strong Anglo-Saxon influence, you have some names lifted straight from 9th century England like Eadric. I'd also argue it was less the Russian military and more the house of cards at the home front. Brusilov would have continued his dance over the Carpathians were everything peachy back in the industrial heartlands. Despite her bold expansionism, I'm assuming Beatrice's domestic situation is not as stable as it appears.

Tsarist Russia was overall not that incompetent, just middle of the road. It just that:
German war machine was built different.
The army's logistics were failed by the home front and politicians.
Kerensky's or some other republican's retarded reform was passed that kill the army. Elected officers or something I can't remember.

Do you think they will add a war option for Zille? It might be redundant honestly given you can use your paramilitaries to get it back.
>>
>>2454188
Initial forces not counting reinforcements.. Germans and Austrians then began desperately funneling everything they could spare there to plug the Brusilov gap. Else Austria would have collapsed and Russia would have gotten the Good Ending.
>>
>>2454194
Where's the strength counting reinforcements? every other article for battles includes that number.
>>

>>2454187
Reading the "The Russian Army in the World War" by Golovin shows an utterly incompetent Tsarist administration and officer class.
And this was written by a White, not a Red.
>>
Solo war is the only correct choice. You bismark Beatrice.
>>
>>2454198
It's somewhat relative, you have to remember that the other Great Powers had many similar issues with procurement and tactics so zeroing in on the Russian failures paints an incorrect picture, as would only looking at the Somme or Nivelle offensive when judging the Entente's capabilities. Don't forget that the Russian army was not routed from the front until their home front collapsed in on itself, their main issue was a lack of supply and domestic stability rather then a lack of competence. That is not to say they were amazing, they had many awful command decisions, but just that when compared to their contemporaries they were by no means lightweights. Their government were definitely, undeniably, incompetent however.
>>
Wait, is the wiki right? Can you actually get away with going full commie so long as you give Iosef a pile of money and win the war?
>>
>>2454262
As long as you avoid actually saying your a communist to him and don't piss him off in other ways yes
>>
>>2454262
>>2454459
Also trialling Soll gets you couped if I remember correctly, assuming you didn't pull a Stalin and purge your military. Personally I think it would be cool if you could persecute Sollists from a Luderinist perspective.
>>
>>2454262
I wish I had a screenshot but my favorite scene in the entire game is when you're doing a communist run in Sordland and I think it's when you announce an alliance with Valgsland or United Contana and Iosef throws a shit fit seething at you, and Anton can just respond "I trust your judgment and our troops." and Iosef just immediately calms down and forgets about it entirely. It's so funny. You can be a raging Stalinist and as long as you don't say anything commie in front of him he is unaware. My headcanon is that he just never reads the news and has no clue what Anton is doing outside of military stuff.

I slightly rotated them here but did nothing else except cut them off zhukovs face and move them above iosefs half visible eyebrows

I don't see it whatsoever, they look nothing alike and their tactics barely mirror each other besides "pocket encirclement". There is just nothing that connects them, personally, politically or militarily. Sidenote but I also hate how the Suzerain devs do military uniforms, they look either completely dissimilar to one another or out of tone for their nation. Iosef and Valken look like members from different armies, with Valken having multiple crowns on his uniform despite his boss being a diehard Republican. Iosef's uniform is just generic western-aligned Cold War and Valken has basically a British general's uniform. Same thing with Taddeus and Carlos to a lesser extent, they look so generic for a nation like Rizia. Personally I would give them more ceremonial uniforms similar to Romus'.
>>
>>2455068
Iosef isn't in the military he's the defense minister. Valken is in the military. This is something suzerain got COMPLETELY correct.
>>
>>2455533
Clearly he was promoted to the MOD from high command or he wouldn't have that uniform.

Since Sol already approves of a nationalized economy, the country is actually already primed to accept communism as long as you don't *call* it that. Leave the churches alone, have a big military and go on about Sord pride in speeches and they'd never notice or resist the fact everything under the surface is Malenyevist.
>>
>>2455935
That is interesting. What exactly is the sollists problem with communism? Women's rights? Is that it? Bludish rights?
>>
>>2455936
Sollist problem with Communism is that it isn't Sollism.

>>2455068
Valken's insignia has crowns because he was part of the Royal Army. Soll probably grandfathered in the old pre-civil war military honors to retain the loyalty of the anti-commie military faction during the civil war.

I can accept that answer but Soll still explicitly purged the monarchist faction of the military, if I remember correctly their was an update that went more in depth with it in the codex to state that the monarchist nationalists basically consider him a scheming rat who unironically stabbed them in the back. I wish the devs gave some minor dialogue options to let Soll you oppose him not because you are a liberal but because you consider him one. Luderin did nothing wrong.
The rumours that Lucian was a member of the Black Battalion makes him a far more interesting character despite him already being up there already.

Seeing Sordland from the inside demonstrates why not all countries can be democracies. There are certain prerequisites that have to be met or the whole thing will go to shit. The number of corrupt compromises you have to make to, say, liberalize the constitution, the extent to which you have to limit your own ability to fight corrupting forces, is utterly demoralizing. I did that hippy dippy path my first time through - never again. Sordland is a hive of scum and villainy and needs a full fucking purge.
>>
>>2459290
It's literally Turkey and people try to play it as though it's America. Being a corrupt but primarily in the service of a greater good rather then self-enrichment is the best you are going to get.
>>
>>2459318
Ironically, America has basically turned into Christian Turkey.
>>
>>2459344
Meh, parts perhaps but you have to balance it out State by State. That analogy works for a good chunk of the nation but falls laughably on it's face when you consider California and New York exist and are leading powers both culturally and economically. I know Ankara and Istanbul can be kind of faggy but it's a whole different ball game in the US. Sordland's experience would probably be better if it was closer to Turkey rather then the mismatch of Franco-Ataturk just to ground itself more.

This, I remember the first time I played this game and went full Reddit libtard. I got BTFO. I don’t think I realized before going in just how much of a backwards shithole Sordland was. Played it years later after actually studying politics with a sort of pragmatic Dengist-style Rayne where I aimed for capitalist but not political reforms and did much better. (Game even called me a “Neo-Sollist Capitalist” at the end which is exactly what I was going for.)
>>
>>2461818
>Thoughts on the new DLC they announced?
could be cool, but it's definitely the least interesting of their upcoming projects
>be a Rumburgian General, navigate the power struggle between the Duke Regent and the Princess while leading an army to battle
>be the Premier of a recently established Socialist State, navigate internal factions and a divided nation and try your best not to get purged or ousted by your CSP "allies"
>be a fucking podcaster
just doesn't hit as hard
>>
>>2461818
Not at all interested. I'm looking for ward to the commie DLC and the new game though.

>The number of corrupt compromises you have to make to, say, liberalize the constitution, the extent to which you have to limit your own ability to fight corrupting forces
skill issue, I think the only thing approaching corruption I did in my lib playthrough (no women's reform though fuck you monica lol) was promise VP to alvin or whatever his name was to get the reformist wing vote, but then I reneged on the promise anyway like a boss. started the ACP and both oligarchs got the ding dong bannu, felt good.

>>

>Suzerain weg when?
been wondering the same thing. the only rulership/political wegs I'm aware of are either pretty niche (Ravager where you're a literal dragon or Naked Ambition where you're a foid Long Live the Queen/Princess Maker style), or Vae Victis which is gobboslop
>>
>>2465363
It's still such a whiplash that he chose that option to deal with him, very cool guy but God damn Karl. Also weird how you can do that shit to your best friend but nothing to your wife when she takes your daughter.
>>2465523
Honestly I think it would be fairly simple to do if you keep the management/political angle constantly present but not overbearing like a minigame you have to do to get a scene. Make it a simple Kennedy playboy or Cleveland (alleged) blackmailer choice with corresponding different outcomes and you're golden on the sex front. Also avoid some pandering message, that is always written poorly in these types of games.
>Ravager
I can appreciate the art of the girls but I'm not a fan of scalie stuff and it just goes way too much towards it for me to tolerate it. The dragon dick is purple and the size of the girls it's entering, that's not even hot, it's just retarded.
>female mc
I'm perfectly willing to play the Galmland femcel commie dictator sim but a porn game where you're a girl is just weird and gay.
>Vae Victis
I like it due to it's uniqueness and it being actually very well done when comparing to other gobboslop, prefer 2d art but it's not a deal breaker for me. The fact that it has that much content and variety is also a major plus.
>>
>>2466065
>uniqueness and it being actually very well done
okay I'll have to check it out, it was years ago when I last played it and I couldn't tell whether it was going to open up into an actually compelling game
>>
>>2466122
It's definitely worth it if you are looking for a conquer and pillage/kingdom management sex game but don't expect it to be like suzerain lol. It's more like Ravager conceptually. Ideally it would have Ravager's art as well but it is already more then decent in my view.

I think there should be a humane option of pre-empting the divorce by having Monica secretly detained and then committed to a private mental hospital/asylum whilst then gaslighting Deana to only love you now that Mommy's gone. Franc probably wouldn't believe you and the friction can arise there by keeping him away from Deana.

>>2466524
I've said it before but I think the devs are unironically too normie to have thought about it. A lot of the content for the more extreme paths is good but misses just that extra bit of creativity that real dictators show. Rayne is also very reactive rather then getting out ahead of everything. The acid bath is fun but also weirdly too far, as though they looked up fucked up ways to kill people and chose some cartel method over something more traditionally dictatorial like drowning, shooting, suffocating or beating to death.
>>
>>2466564
isn't an acid bath just to get of a body without leaving any trace? I assume they don't want to let the ebul incels harm le wahmen in their game.
>>
>>2466566
That would work I suppose but it feels more breaking bad/narcos when a Soviet style shoot and cremate is more fitting. I felt bad for Petr, I thought Karl was just going to beat him and then cut his throat or something, acid baths and boiling alive will always be way too rancid for me no matter the justification. The spy girl does join him in that death though so you can at least kill one woman. On that topic I would also appreciate the option to imprison anyone who resigns, with the idea that you only need to do it once for that kind of foolish decision making to stop.
>>
>>2466405
I can't do it. Even as dictator Rayne I'm still a family man. The only break I'm ok with there is if I'm playing as a tradNurist and think women should stay in the kitchen (though that exposes a blatant flaw in the writing - a traditionalist wouldn't marry someone like Monica in the first place, so the writers have presumed Rayne is a feminist).
>>
The writers for this game need to communicate better. There are mutliple codex entries that contradict each other because different people obviously wrote them, never read each others' work to make sure they didn't contradict, and evidently did not agree on the lore beforehand or else there wouldn't be contradictions in the first place.
>>
I'm new to the game, is there any randomness to things at all? Like if I make the same choices will the game play out the exact same every time?
>>
>>2466598
Specifically with the Young Sord background, the suspension of disbelief I need to know Monica married a street fighting neo-nazi who told her he wasn't interested in her feminism only to then complain about it and act shocked after two kids and decades of marriage is immersion breaking. It isn't even just a woman moment as if it were you would have an option to correct her as you have to assume you did multiple times over your years of marriage.
>>2466599
Allegedly, they used ai for some of the codexes. They edited many to not be so wordy and redundant with their repeated sentences after people commented on it which really does make you think. Also for me it's the flags, so many of them are fucking awful. Take the CSP flag for instance, it's yellow with red stars because for some reason they simply cannot bear copying real life's communist colours despite doing the exact thing with United Cortana, whose flag looks infinitely better due to that fact. Valgland's flag also looking very garish and un-communist as well, despite Hegel being a great character. A lot of the decisions for the world building and geography are very strange and it would frankly be better if they did just copy irl's geopolitical situation in the fifties and hit it with a hammer like every other fiction writer.
>>2466651
It will play out the same but if you make different prologue choices like Red Youth vs Young Sord or lawyer vs historian it will have different dialogue and different options available but certainly nothing to start a new game to look at unless you were already planning to do a different run.
>>
>>2466566
But we can do it to Livia?
>>
>>2440001
this game sucks. it's a twine game. we need something truly next-gen and innovative where the point of the text interface is the inherent ambiguity that you have to work around in statecraft and not to dump long-ass scenes of you playing chess with one of your cabinet ministers.
>>
I never found Livia that attractive. She was ok but nothing to ruin your marriage, political career and life over. It is realistic though that an aging playboy has blinkers on when a girl responds to him.
