I have some doubts about how well they'll achieve that though.I think they've tried a bit harder to make factions interesting and unique which is nice but all we've seen so far seems to revolve around the competitive multiplayer which is one of the main things that killed Stormgate imo.There's also a lot less hype around it than Stormgate which doesn't bode will either. I'd like it to succeed but it feels like there are a lot of different ways it could fail.

I dunno. The store page doesn't seem to indicate any specific adherence to competitive PvP-slop but maybe the actual game will be focused on that. I'm curious about it at least.Like, the game seems to be an RTS with branching paths and more depth to battles and characters?

1ish hour until early access. I will be watching some streams. I tried the demo and did not find it very enjoyable. I did like Stormgate, but I have not played more than 30 minutes of Starcraft 2 so it felt pretty fresh for me. Currently playing Zero-K singleplayer and its been pretty fun.

well, after playing the EA I can say that in it's fetus stage it certainly is way better than shartgate ever wasthe game is FUCKING RAW but it actually is fun?
