I still remember Endless Legend 1 getting a (male model) female vampire event character, followed by an entire black transgender illiterate murderous thief faction that would be 'phobic and an 'ism if made by the wrong people. I never checked how bad it was in ES2, but the plentiful female led factions and the feminist, diverse, inclusive fascist empire with a heckin' science path made me not care about the game entirely after I found the mechanics to be bad.
