Ok having played both paths in the TNO: Requiem Tsar and Soviets update here's my thoughts. Kosygin is way batter than the other guy and has a bunch of minigame while the other guy has basically nothing. It's solid all around but endgame bugs are very disappointing and kind of sour a lot of it for me. The Unique 2GCW (which only triggers if you know to click the right country path toggle) Is basically broken and I still haven't figured out how to trigger the afghan war. A lot of the Middle East interventions got half ripped out so you end up only getting involved in two for absolutely no reason. The Manchuria stuff is a fun addition tho and doesn't bug out. Warlords for losing the 2WRW are also broken. What they have is at times as good or better than base TNO Russian warlords but bugs are very annoying. Also it's basically just the submod with some extra stuff for the 2WRW and it's hard for me not to think about Novosibirsk's great post-war content and wish smth similar was here. I had a lot of fun with it but I hope the Kardashev update has a little more post war stuff and is less buggy on launch.

Mexico is all about the Miracle because that was the entire goal of the PRI (to keep the country docile to allow for strong, stable economic growth). As for the workshop of the world, it is clearly unfinished and borderline doesn’t work because of how rushed the UK update was. As for Mexico’s mechanics being useless, the content isn’t long enough to actually show the player the consequences of their actions, so everything feels somewhat pointless.
