The small team that used to be Paradox would work on weekends to fix all the bugs, modding was extremely easy too. Since the games were all historical, it was easy enough to expand the content too. No gay DLCs. While the railroaded historical events limited the replayability, they also gave the game its character, and high quality for that time.Victoria 2 was a straight upgrade from Vicky 1 which was already a good game.EU3 was completely different to 2, but it was saved over time and with mods.And CK2 was their last good game.
