Do you have any very simple, mind-killing, dopamine infused 4x game? No Polytopia, please
I tried Ozymandias, enjoyed the simplicity at first, but got absolutely sick of it after five games. I'd rather stick to Antiyoy which is very similar but much simpler, faster and far less tedious.
tranimepia
C-evo and Free Orion are both free.
It’s not exactly 4X, but you might like Battle for Wesnoth.

>>2469193You can install the Advance Wesnoth Wars mod to fix that
>>2481658NTA but redpill me on Wesnoth mods, I recently reinstalled the game and it has its charms but there's definitely things I dislikeI tried looking around the ingame add-on menu but only saw a bunch of alternative campaigns which didn't seem that interesting considering I haven't finished the "official" ones yet
>>2484220Advance Wesnoth makes it so that every hit is guaranteed with damage reduction based on terrain. It reduces frustration but blurs the line between evasion heavy and defence heavy troops as both take low damage on the right terrain. It works with all other mods and Campaigns but makes some missions and achivements more difficult on the highest levels. As for Campaign mods, I haven't played many either. Some are too experimental (like the RPG ones) while others are just too long for my tastes (like that multipart one with 100+ missions). The main ones are best.
>>2484760>every hit is guaranteed with damage reductionOh I seeI did ragequit a mission just yesterday because my mage missed 3 hits in a row with a 70% probability, so this is probably for the best, but I see your point that it makes evasive troops basically tanks in the right scenario which is equally weirdI'm actually kinda torn on this then
>>2481658>>2484760>guaranteed hits instead of adding glancing hits>also a glut of random bullshit like Squad Mode and Passive ExpThanks, but no thanks, anon.
