Just finished this on hard. What do Kohan pros think of it?
How well does this work on a modern computer?
Damn near perfect with deegee voodoo
>>2472343>Just found out the game got re-released with modern OS compatibility a couple of months ago.Actually jonesing to replay this shit but I don't have a PC to play games now. Maybe at the end of the year.>What do Kohan pros think of it?That campaign is pure hell. World War 1-tier quagmires by making you fight with nothing but slow Slaan warriors and setting up outposts to hold enemies off until you can gather enough gold to make more units and make that big push. It's still entertaining, though. At least more than the other campaign with the windrider heroine that is linear as fuck.

Heavy cavalry with Rangers go vroom. I remember using this combo to run circles around the enemy. Kohan is all about moving quickly and making sure that 1 soldier survives so that they can full regenerate.
>>2478937Hmm will try
>>2478937The cavarly + Ranger combo really shines if you ever play a map with a high% of Desert terrain. It's a real eye opener when you go into the desert with 10 to 15 units with your regular makeups (dragoons/priest/priest, for example), then you find yourself surrounded by fast units and then your units get raped in the open sands, with three surviving and limping back to a nearest town that feels too far away because of the movement penalty.
