Quickly becoming a favorite of mine, i love the grand scale it gives, what do yall think?
>>2487215I found out about this game couple of days ago while I was looking for some Napoleonic era games. I'm planning on trying in out in near futureSo right now YOU can tell me what do you think and is it worth playing
>>2487224IT is really good I think, the scale is like no other game, it can be a bit slow and the controls are a bit hard when you first start off but the tutorial explains quite well, i would recommend, also watch some videos about it before ya buy
>>2487215Hows the scale? What are the army sizes?
all this death and destruction... sad!
>>2487215Okay, I was finally able to play this and yeah the game is kinda funnyPlayed through the first couple of scenarios, mostly Quatre Bras, and the game is mostly fine at brig and div level, however once you actually get to commanding big size armies it really gets annoying.Game's so unresponsive, UI is clunky, AI is pretty stupid and won't listen to you, at times you get very little info if your units are actually doing anything of value. You order a squadron of cav to charge into some undefended artillery and they just can't fucking kill it. Literally one canon. They just rout it and can't finish it off. I dunno, maybe it's just my lack of experience but that's my first impression. This should be Scourge of War 2 with significant improvements, especially in UI division, and not a remaster. >>2487470It has real life scale so you can command like 60k people and more
The controls are fucking shit and there's two UI styles for using them I guess. Even starting a quick battle or whatever can be confusing because you can end up with an all-cavalry army for some reason.
the dev cheated his partner from madminute games as he was dying of cancer thoughbeit
