I've heard high praises for Trevor Chan's Capitalism 2 although personal I've never played it.
>>
This genre is so retarded. You might as well just do actual investing nowadays.
>Muh no money
Get a paper account on something like ibkr where it's simulation cash but real markets. Can't get more in-depth than real life

Offworld trading company is great, idk if that’s what you meant tho

Off world trading company is good. I even played it 1v1 with a friend of mine a bunch.

Do 18XX games count? They're a family of boardgames about trains, train companies, being a shareholder and not a full owner (usually), managing personal finances with one hand and multiple corporation treasuries with another, and corporate shenanigans like getting away with embezzlment by disguising it as a sale of a private company; where the rulebooks have enough lines written to let you read between the lines and get away with the horriblest hostile dumps I've ever seen in any media. Playable online on your computer via Tabletop Simulator or the 18xx.games website, among a few other implementations.

this one was pretty alright from what I remember https://store.steampowered.com/app/1331550/Big_Ambitions/ though I've played it pre-1.0

From what I understand, this game's a simulation though. There's no expansion like main HQ/branch office to manage so there's not as much strategy here, unlike other games.
Also, holy fuck it's been in E.A. for over a decade by now!

I'm playing a demo for a merchant game called HIROTONFA’s American Revolution Smuggler and made a horrible mistake, I got a letter delivery quest in the starting town but it turns out the cargo I loaded is super cheap at my destination, enough so to define the port I stopped at
Seems a promising game

Decent, but it's up to you if it's gonna be more than that. I dislike the lack of rooms and no second floor? What kind of hospital tries to cram everything in 1-story building(s)?
>>
>>2494292
this one is good

Two Point Hospital is unfortunately less business strategy and more of a puzzle game. Everything is divided into missions with specific objectives and challenges, there's no free build.
