Gihren's Greed V and its half-baked English translation from /m/(I believe rather than a font or text file or something every single line of dialogue is an image so to translate them requires editing some absurd amount of images) is somehow the best Gundam game ever made despite being by all means bad at everything beyond Gundam fanservice. It's almost like a parody of bad strategy tropes. Complicated routes and extremely specific triggers easily missed for progression, near total resets between "eras", animations that slow down the game to a crawl, a single music track that endlessly loops(and if interrupted by an enemy turn it restarts), an AI that cheats off its ass whilst also not knowing how to fight so turns take forever, and extremely vague mechanical explanations and tooltips. Stuff like "Research Boogle Bagle's new weapon?" can be the difference in 20 turns in which you've played 30 hours meaning you lost a critical tech development. It is absurd to imagine a PSP strategy game of this scope.It is, however, still the best Gundam game.
