how would you rank the wallace and gromit trilogy?what game would you like to see next?
my experience is like basically:hospital>okay this is cute actually cute>lets place down these rooms and help these patients>and then again, but on the next map you unlocked something new>and then again, good thing I saved the room templates>and then again?>ok this is boring>alt+f4campus>brah this is literally hospital but its a campus + its mid as fuck>alt+f4now musem looks the best and probably the most fun in the series but i havent seen any cracked versions so I can't tellI was thinking about playing the OG hospital game, anyone tried this mod?https://youtu.be/Of3WlxGI8Dc
>>2495650Museum is easily the best since it has the most twists in its gameplay. It's still an extremely easy and repetitive game and will eventually just have you doing the same thing over and over again while waiting for bars to fill.
>>2495650>what game would you like to see nextsomething in which the core gameplay loop does not rely on constantly building the same rooms where you do the same things but with different animationssomething like managing a gym
>>2495672I agree. I have played museum during a free weekend and it does get repetitive quickly like the others. I think that if they had expanded the artifact gathering parts of the game it would have been better. If the artifacts actually had some value to the player then you would want to show off your favourites.
Is there any point to play that over theme hospital
>>2495650>what game would you like to see next?Maybe something where you build hotels and resorts in various wacky locations and have to accomodate various wacky guests with wacky needs.
Museum>Hospital>>>>>>>campus.Museum is a fucking geniusly perfect game. I can't wait for the theme park DLC. Two Point said they have another game in the works so I wonder what they are cooking up and what they have left for Museum.
>>2496564>Museum is a fucking geniusly perfect gameEh, I find it's a lot of waiting around for expeditions while the actual layout and management of your museum is less important
>>2496489That would be a wacky idea
2P Museum is great, I'm somewhat relieved other people agree.2P Hospital is ok but I replayed Theme Hospital again as recently as last year, I don't think you're missing a whole lot.Campus runs aground quite quick.
Whatever the fourth game is, I hope they make the building and customization system even more flexible. They said this was a point of focus in Museum but it still falls short in a lot of ways>wall corners have the default brown brick texture no matter how you paint the wall, regardless of the default wallpaper of the map>rooms can only follow the grid and not have diagonals, or be enclosed in anything less than full walls. An open cafeteria area would be nice but is impossible.>decor in rooms is very restricted. If you want to decorate your staff room or workshops you basically have access to a potted plant, some filing cabinets and a rug. And the game WILL expect you to provide decoration or the inspectors will complain.>lot of stuff doesn't work outdoors and if you want an outdoor area it needs its own separate staff assignment zone because those can't be both inside and outside.>there is no option to summarily execute guests who litter right next to a trash can.
With the recent DLC announcement, I really hope they don't do a theme park. We have enough park builders and the genre as a whole is oversaturated.I'd much rather them take on a different kind of park, like natural reserves or historical areas and that sort of thing. I want a SimPark successor.
>>2495650I've only played Campus and I thought it was pretty shit. Very repetitive levels, you're constantly being pestered to buy ugly junk by students and a lot of mechanics are just completely half-baked (e.g. shoving every one in a giant dorm is always optimal). It's too shallow for fans of management games and too restrictive for people who just want to build stuff.
>behold, our new DLCs!>Zoo exhibits!>Rollercoasters!>are you sure these fit the museum theme?>museum?
