nope. that should be C-evo?
FC was made for multiplayer and the UI is a clusterfuck. also it seem to have copied Civ2's code including the the "doomstack" bug. you're not suppose to get everything deleted in the stack when you lose just 1 unit. its a known bug for ages but no one tried to fix it.

This game was my first Civ game, but it also ended up scaring me away from Civ for a while because all my campaigns ended with me getting assraped by pirates. I have since learned that you should always keep at least one unit in each of your settlements.

It's supposed to be a FOSS clone of Civ2, so that makes sense.

It's not a bug it's a feature, and it eloquently solved the doomstack problem without restricting units to just one unit per tile. It forces you to actually think about positioning, tile bonuses and what exactly your stack is composed of. The mechanic is negated by positioning your units on a fort or city, meaning that if you take some workers/engineers with you, you can actually fight a war of attrition this way.

Civ3 and 4 combat was an endless slugfest, and civ 5 onwards treats a civ game as a tactic game which shouldn't be the case.

>Illiterate retard namefag just makes shit up
The entire stack getting deleted is on purpose. It's explicitly spelled out in the Civ1 and Civ2 manual that it is how combat is supposed to work.

NTA
Take the L and move on instead of doubling down. You were wrong. It was not a bug, the game was working as designed. Anon attempted to explain to you why it was the way it was, and you ignored it and got mad about it.

It irks me how the capitol also has corruption. In brand name Civ that was only a thing with Communism.

In the western world that joke is older than your dad.
