Its quite good if you care the most about how your city looks, it gives you a lot of options and methods to make a good looking city.

It's a full fledged colony builder if not particularly challenging one. The unique selling point is that most major buildings are highly modular and you have to put them together from different parts you can resize and shit and a structure can also be made up from smaller substructures so a monastery complex can have functional separate living spaces, kitchens, scriptoriums and whatever else while being one continuous structure.
It's possible to build some nice looking stuff.
