i dont get why eu5 is so hated on 4channel.comthis is the first paradox game in over a decade that's reversed the trend of simplifying and casualizing their games, as such i love it, i love the interconnected mechanics, i love popmaxxing, i love prosperity spamming, i love production efficiency, i love managing control and proximity, this game is truly great to me and the first time i've felt positively to the direction paradox are moving in since heart of darkness was releasedyes, i don't like the lack of railroading, i hate megakyiv, mongol iraq, victorian mamluks, but these are simply balance changes, for example stuff like courts being full of injuns and china never reunifying has been fixed (though 1.4 seems to have partially fucked china again)also a lot of the patches have been absolute dogshit, bricking the game, and show severe incompetence, but they tend to get hotfixed pretty quicklythe dlcs so far have been pure powercreep crap, which is poor and not a good thingbut mechanically the game is still good, and 1.4 seems to be moving positively, nerfing the infinite food and optimal urbanization meta, and the new trade orders make trade actually fun to interact with instead of just automate and forget itwhat i'm asking is which of these is the correct assessment of the situation:1. The people complaining are seething EU4 blobbers mad this isn't EU4:22. The people complaining are mad for legitimate grievances, like the ones i outlined3. looks like the free market woke up and it's not happytime to haul away all of paradox's trade goods (stock value). nothing they can do. they just have to watch it happen from the cuck chair instead of just clicking the 'stop this from happening' button (making the game good)
