The biggest issue, beyond the cheating which is already bad is that this shows Ellie’s community has a good chance of being taken advantage of by her in a way that lets her look for options fuck around. That’s very dangerous for multiple reasons. That, unironically, could ruin her the most. Stuff like cheating, even if really bad, can be pushed away as personal shit. We don’t need to hear about any of that, and it isn’t our business what Ellie chooses to do with her life. However, Ellie using her Discord to basically create a bubble where she can leap from fan to fan looking for whoever is “worthy” is something that needs questioning and is worth being called out. No matter the reasoning behind it, that is some real shit. If the Frenchie was smart enough, he would focus on that and try to prove it, but I guess he can’t notice since it would mean he fell hook, line, and sinker even more than he thought.
