As a non-otomo, I hate what I see of CC because she seems a very talented high-quality streamer. In fact she seems too high-effort for the natural impulse of a working woman, and thus it feels very fake, because she is trying too hard with good humour, good gameplay, good technical skills, and being cute. The ideal vtuber should hate their fans much more and fail to meet their requests, which is more honest to the base instincts of a woman. CC, in being too perfect, is in fact not perfect at all, and actually far from perfect.

You pick a random game (in CC's case usually very shortly before the stream, sometimes even during the stream itself) and you play it for a couple of hours. You don't need to prepare anything or think about anything, the game gives you content and things to talk about. It's another symptom of her chronic disorganization and bad time management, she's always overwhelmed because of the 20 different things she's juggling behind the scenes so she doesn't have the time or patience to plan more interesting streams most of the time, but she knows she has to stream something so she throws up a frame with a placeholder title+thumbnail and then picks a random game to play for a couple of hours and that's that problem solved for another day.

Well being able to do that would require her to be someone else, really. I don't see it happening for the same reason I don't expect her to suddenly become a streaming monster. She will keep juggling twenty projects behind the scenes and being too stressed and overwhelmed to focus on making entertaining daily content, that is just who she is. The first year or so is always different because they don't have the chance to dive head first into quite as many projects, but now she's fully integrated in the hololive machine and I don't think that will change. There are other members you can watch if you're after consistent streams, CC is the way she is.
