>>112533095DARK is the place for graduates, first and foremost. but its roots are firmly placed in asking OP in thread "when are Holostars DIVAS debuting?" with various screencaps of the bad female CaWs i made. infact, the main motivation for the CEO of DARK, former main Stars manager Shinove, is often "how can I get the funding to support/launch holostars DIVAS?"i will say, the ACTIVE Stars' tenure was meant to be brief and they were meant to stay female CaWs, but it just made it hard to properly integrate them in the story. if only cross gender matches existed sooner.., i'm just slow at telling the story. if not for me preemptively making CaWs for Season 5, active Stars members probably would not have been seen since the Season 4 finale back in 2023.as far as their inclusion going forward, active Stars still have a role to play, whenever we get to Season 5 (someday surely), but otherwise you probably won't see them until then. All of the graduates, I do intend on including in the regular roster. They, along with all of the graduations in the past 2-3 years, are why I'm moving toward a "fresh" alternative timeline with 2k26. In the main canon timeline, the only post HoloCN graduates to appear are Coco and Rushia. So it may be a long time before, if ever, any others were to appear. but i want DARK to be the place for Vtubers who've graduated to wrestle. that's why over time, be it alt timelines, or simulation universes, i've tried to find ways to include various vtubers outside of even the Holosphere. being a fresh start makes it easier to include those elements, with hopefully less strenuous storyline and lore binding it down.That isn't to say DARK 2k26 won't have lore, it will. i just want to clear the hurdle of the DARK IF Finale before that point.and we're almost there.tl;dr active Stars probably won't show up again until season 5, the recent graduates will show up eventually
