We are not in 2021 anymore and Yagoo has made huge mistakes. The EN model redesign fights that should have been settled in 2022 but have dragged on for over 4 years. The JP talents who had so many fights with management they decided to quit to be indie vtubers. I remember reading about the psychology of this years ago, so perhaps the thinking on it has changed. The way boys and girls play/interact with toys differs thus, supposedly: boys will ditect the toy; it is a tool or puppet through which they exercise their will by manipulating it around to enact whatever scenario they have in mind when they play (hence action figures), or the toy itself is the tool, dispensing with the vicarious nature of the figure (instead a toy gun, sword etc). Girls on the other hand interact with their toys (dolly); the toy is imagined to have its own agency separate from the girl during play scenarios. No agency puppet to be directly controlled vs imagined agency that is indirectly manipulated. I guess the girls' way is more conducive to child rearing, and the boys for fighting other tribes and hunting mammoths and shit.

Realistically, this isn't even something he CAN fix. Once your channel takes a massive hit like nearly all of NijiEN did, youtube tends to completely fuck you over in the algorithm. That's the main reason the affected channels have only shrunk since that day.
Some of them were able to sort of escape that fate and begin to grow again, but without further investment from Niji or completely swapping to JP, they didn't stand a chance.

The only positive thing one can say about YouTube is that it's recommendation algorithm is extremely good.
