Fuck no. I was seriously considering oshihening if they didn't come back to normal after the concert. I enjoyed their music, but my support on those kinds of things was conditional on them actually loving and caring about the ruffians, and the way they've been acting for the past few months has been incredibly disappointing to say the least. I don't need them to stream as much as Biboo, but I at least want them to put a little bit of effort into spending time with the Ruffians in some way without any random cancellations or disappearing for weeks.

FUWAMOCO have always been very bad at saying things definitively but I think last night was the clearest they've ever been about how things are. Streams are not going to get better, in fact they are going to get worse. Them saying they want to go at a new slower pace is saying that they'll drop off permanently to the same schedule as most ENs or even worse. Yes it's for health reasons but they aren't cutting back studio time (40+ hours a week) so really they aren't going slower on anything but what I want out of them.

Now I just have to decide if I want to stay knowing that.

If the guy who gave me the right click menu tip is here, thanks. Made the Windows 11 transition pretty smooth. There were a couple other pain points here and there but mostly getting used to the Nvidia App I've been ignoring now that the old control panel is phased out.
I actually rather like Windows 11 so far. But we'll see once I come into any compatibility issues. I heard a lot about bloat with AI stuff and whatnot but at least with the way I interact with it I haven't seen any, works the same way as 10 but faster. The only change I really disliked was not having the notification counter in the corner. You can enable the bell but it just says whether you have notifications or not.
I thought I'd hate the windows key mid screen instead of in the left corner but it really makes no difference.

Yes I know and personally for me that's not enough. Because even before the surgery, they were dropping entire weeks.

I think that the earliest they knew about the surgery was the grumpy members stream which in October. The one titled【QUICK CHAT】bau bau bau bau bau.... In it, they were very tired and grumpy and talked about a lot of issues they were facing and were crying. Fuwawa mentioned getting some bad news from the Dogtor so I think this was when she learned she needed surgery and they realized it was going to throw off their next year.

I remember this stream clearly because at the time, I was also disappointed. I cannot speak for anyone else, but personally, I have been feeling neglected for a very long time now. I always trace it back to the release of Crescent Moon, the reason it hit so hard for me was because I was feeling distant from them and the song seemed to be acknowledging that distance. But I always held out hope that it would eventually get better.

Saying they'll be going slower in relation to an already unacceptably slow rate (at least concerning streams) is just devastating.

Ultimately you only control your own actions and nothing else. You might laugh at me but I had a really hard time dropping Gura back then. I stuck by her over multiple hiatuses and only called it quits when she managed to completely skip out on another halloween and christmas season without even saying a few words to us, despite those being her two favorite times of the year.
The point is if you're a fan it's not easy to just leave at all, you are attached after all. But most people sans the truly insane have a breaking point and when that is will differ for all of us.

I actually haven't seen complaints about LACK OF GAMING STREAMS. Most complaints have always been about them falling sick or doing Japanese streams

At the end of the day the main issue is the same as always, Cover doesn't consider streams to be work, unless they're official streams, even though that's antithetical to their business model, which relies on people getting to know talents through streams to want to buy the stuff they're selling.
By slowing down what they mean is essentially that they won't be streaming much if at all on weeks they already worked a full time job, because they want to have time for themselves, they want to go to places, watch Saya no Uta plays, spend time with family, and if they can't sacrifice work, streams it is.
I can't blame them either, I also wouldn't want to stream after working a full time job if it meant I don't get to enjoy the things I like doing in my free time, including watching streams.
It's not like Cover is asking too much of them with a 40 hours week either, can't accuse them of overworking them here, so the problem is entirely the fact that none of those 40 hours include streaming hours.
Nothing really changed other than them saying they want to do non-hololive related things with their lives, which is a good change. They mentioned holidays with family, and they totally should take some too. Don't even need to sacrifice everything they do with us, they can totally do a dumb romance movie watchalong from the NWP, no need to stay in Japan every Christmas for as long as they're in Hololive just to do thematic streams for a timezone they're not even living in.
