Scene has been stalling a bit and viewership has already found their places so some girls barely get any new viewers, and most decide to stream safe and simple things instead trying new things or hosting events.Also nobody wants to invest the little money they have.

>>112833232There's only a handful of chuubas trying to grow any kind of scene, and none of them are really on /vt/s radar. The biggest ones i can think of would be Zentreya, Dokibird, Filian(pre hiatus), and Ironmouse. Events in general are just expensive and hard to organize because vtubers tend to be flakey ditzes and incredibly hard to gather at one time.

The only vtuber i have seen organizing events nonstop and 0 drama has been lulu, she sets up huge events every 1-2 months.

Covid is over and the chuuber hype that came with it is gone. Only 6 years have passed and the scene is nothing like it was when the wave hit.

>>112835100There's lot of small indie concerts, it's a good place to find vsingers. The theatrical/kayfabe side of vtubing is a lot harder because it's very high effort and doesn't get the engagement that drama does, especially in the west.
