Watched both HoloEN and NijiEN from the start, both got kinda the same problem of having too many people/streams to follow at some point (this is how I got a bit burnt out of HoloEN right after NijiEN turned out to be pretty entertaining). Evem then, I think watching NijiEN fall apart after rising so high was worse. You feel like you've seen it all at that point. Still, I was there with the ship up until the selen shock (as I imagine many people were) before giving up on what's left of NijiEN completely. Now I don't really watch either, don't have the time anymore, but I gotta say - no matter what the problems in HoloEN might be, it was really nice to come back to watch, like, a Mori stream four years after seeing her debut with your own eyes, it's nostalgic in a way, and there are still plenty of funny people in Holo at least, so the regret about Niji falling apart has been growing smaller and smaller for a while nowMan, I feel fucking old.

After Luxiem came out, I dropped Niji completely and just focused on holo until everything fell apart.So for me, downfall of holo hurt more. Especially since they tried to replicate Luxiems sucess with those talentless hacks in holo stars.It just showed that a big corpo will always be soulless no matter what. Always just chasing profit and hopping on new trends. You as an individual fan are highly disposable no matter how many superchats you sent or how many merch you bought.

>>112886880Nah, I was a deadbeat from day 1, there's no denying it. Early holo group collabs were peak, their in-person reunion is still near and dear to my heart. But yeah, I also fell off of the HoloEN train pretty quickly, even though I tried watching both for a while. Then I discovered Selen, then Pomu, then saw how good specific collab groups turned out to be (mostly the ones featuring Selen or Pomu but not the 20-person ones), so I stuck there for a while. Then it all fell apart. I'm glad we still have fantomethief as a collab group, but I canct say that I don't miss the crazy stuff like Nijincancelled every once in a while. Even if multiple people from that group turned out to be complete assholes.
