What did we learn?
>>113038154they should've hired someone else to make the game, cheaper and more useful.
>>113038154Should have focused on the virtual concert aspect. I thought that was pretty neat.
>>113038154Shouldn't have assumed otaku always have PCs
>>113038154feature bloat and lack of direction kills the game
>>113038154>What did we learn? The Metaverse is a meme (already knew that)
Nothing. They learned nothing
>>113038552This, the Craftopia clone was pretty mid which is bad considering that it was seemingly the main appeal of the game, even though direction seemed scattered enough that it probably wasn't onealso seemed kinda too high-spec for otaku
>>113038154Should've built actual MMORPG gameplay worth sticking to instead of expecting players would stick to a bare bones base builder/costume maker.
>Cover: NOTHING!!
>>113038154It should have been just the city with concert venues and then a ZZZ style action fighter where you can pull different versions of the girls in gacha. They would have had enough girls and versions/outfits for 500+ banners and the closed off arena map style would have been much easier to do than an open world craftopia clone.
I didn't get the appeal from the start
>>113038154Businesses don't "learn". Irrespective of the industry.
CIA Superior: What did we learn, Palmer?CIA Officer: I don't know, sir.CIA Superior: I don't fuckin' know either. I guess we learned not to do it again.
>>113038552I should have checked one out when I had the chance. Being able to show off the models in high res and without censorship was cool. They could have reeled back on the "game" and just made it a 3D live/stream lobby thing
>>113039262The metaverse will happen, but no one is gonna make it happen by design. It will just end up evolving from some absurd, sort of how Roblox was the prototype many use. The problem is companies only focus on the "we will be the platform" part and not the "make something people want to use" part
>>113043122>a 3D live/stream lobby thingAka gay sex.
>>113038552Weird part was how they pretty much started with that, then spent 3 years pretending they're seriously developing the survival game thing without actually doing it, and then went back to do concerts, but at that point the finances people had already deemed the project an embarrassing waste of money that needs to be shut down.
