The big flaw is that the company that released Izigenia had little understanding of the vtuber market. A vtuber gen has to be complementary so their is viewer overlap between the talents. The viewers of the grey loli, the bishonen guy, the sexy waifu, and the edgy furry might as well exist in different gens. Nijisanji EN might have been able to do a gen like this 3 years ago but in 2026 they also would have struggled. When a vtuber corpo gets too close to imitating the indie vtuber market they are than competing directly with indie vtubers.

I spent a good time following the corp, so I'll give a rundown of how things went:
>Formally announced July 2025, with it's first pool of auditions held between August and September.
>From this point forward, "metemofu" the mascot attached in the picture, takes over tweets. Most are just pointless trivia, themed day tweets "Happy dog day, bork bork" and the like. If you applied (like I had) you basically heard NOTHING from this company besides from this stupid fluff ball for nearly six months.
>Attended various conventions to promote itself in this time frame, however it was typically low-key with staff doing most of the networking on foot rather than having a booth.
>January 2026 rolls around and auditions are re-opened into a "Seasonal" format. Speculation that a planned hire had already quit by this point. Why I heard you ask, we'll get to that shortly.
>The social media account spams daily that auditions are happening for a month straight, with "metemofu" banished for the time being.

This is the parent companies FORTH attempt at a vtubing project and it's impressive how fumbled it is. Even NEXAS had a long-term goal and motivation compared to these guys.
