There was already a lot of effort and finances put into the model, gen promotional art/advertisement, debut merch, song covers, etc. Calling it off not only would put all of that to waste, but it also affects the other debuts from that gen as it shrouds everything in more controversy. A talent debuting late is a whole lot better than a talent that doesn't debut at all.
And I know there's say about finding a quick replacement to use the model and IP, but too much pre-debut prep goes into the setup. Like months before they even debut. Finding a last minute replacement is not smooth sailing and it's very risky. There's also the possibility of her replacement leaking out from Nyana herself, any of her PL friends, or hell even someone from Phase themselves. Better to let the contract run its course and she can leave to not many people's surprises.

I doubt they've recouped much of their initial investment at this point, and the delay in her debut has probably made them waste even more money, for example on remixing the gen song without her vocal track. And in any case, the delay itself was a specter that hung over her entire generation for months. It may not have been the equivalent of a huge controversy, but I feel that it still had a somewhat negative effect on the overall mood (for fans and talents alike)

i think the concept of nyana/anya in phase was a good idea. she was a hustler and great social ladder climber. also she lost several rungs of her social ladder by filian disapearing. filian pretty much made her into a low 3view and got her in contact with liggers who otherwise would have never given her the time of day.

but she has not worked out at all for whatever reason. it's not too late it's never too late, but she needs a mentality change it is up to her.

i don't know her exact situation and health stuff, but she would not be the first girl to join phase and struggle but rebound to become a player. she ought to look to lia and rie they are great examples. or she could be a yuri/saya/clara and just not fight to survive. the choice is hers.
