Genuinely feels like Anya just copied her entire graduation stream workflow from other graduationsEven the thumbnail is an imitationWho will she copy next?
>>113529813Her whole damn career has been a cheap imitation, right down to her original model being AI slop.

Is she EN5 material?
>>113537746Brother, she's not even Phase material.
>>113537746She just blacklisted herself from everywhere...
It's just too funny because it's obvious what happened. She had no idea what being part of a corpo actually means. There's literally no downsides to being an indie if you've already made it and she learned that the hard way.
>>113537746lol>>113537815People will collab with her, but no corpo's gonna hire her now
>>113537853I watched Nina, who is a more successful indie, complain about commission ghosting and other shit just a few weeks ago.
>>113537859Any smaller corpo would want an ex Phase girl
>>113538030commission ghosting isn't an indie only problem, not to mention corpos are notorious for ghosting the people they hire too.
>>113538326Most companies don't want to hire people that implode in 6 months
>>113538326She is way too much of a risk even for a small corpo, she never was terribly huge even compared to other Phase girls, she debuted months after her genmates did and she left after 6 months. Your company would have to be too desperate to settle on Anya.
>>113536840she's basically just shitposting huh
>>113537853mari said joining phase was the best decision she ever made
>>113537853indiefags are the biggest cucks, they actually believe what they are saying.
>>113538986for mari it felt like 3 months into phase was the start of her soft retirement
>>113537859Hololive hired Ao.Blacklists are clearly overrated.
>>113531765You niggers were all "come watch the real gura" when she started up. The fact that everyone here turned on her is proof that phasejeets are not human
>>113541260she betrayed phase though
>>113541303>betrayed phaseomg too true sister
>>113540440Yeah. Mari is still my favorite, but she has definitely been less energetic and creative with phase. Plus YouTube being the reason half of her old stuff doesn’t get done anymore is pretty annoying.
>>113541260No one seriously thought she would be comparable, I don't know where you got that
>>113539791>no pay cut that goes towards a company that won't do shit for you for most of the time>no game perms that take months or even years >no managerial bullshit like waiting for a simple yes/no question >can cover whatever songs you want without waiting months to get the OK from the company>can do your own 3d and don't have to wait for the company's retarded numbah milestone goals. Not to say thst she was ever a big indie but if you have a dedicated fanbase there's literally no point in joining a company like holo/phase/niji
>>113538326Sorry the demon package is only worth it if your gonna be buying a new dodge challenger
>>113541479and yet everyone tries to join a corpo, even if the corpo is shit.don't get me started on how "happy" Geega and AmaLee was when they joined Vshojo because someone finally has to manage their merch, turns out Vshojo was doing much worse
>>113541479Truth
>>113541479How often do indies get SPWN level production concerts that aren't ex-corpos?
>>113541533I feel there's market niche just doing proper merch drops for small to mid-sized indies. everyone complains about it and from experience it isn't that hard to do. Or are they just too lazy to find a good partner?
>>113541632You have to wade through all the scammers and charlatans and then when you find a good one, they might ghost you because they found a better deal with a bigger entity
>>113541556Generally you need some kind of corporate backing to get those kinds of resources, either through connections you form while in the corpo or through sponsorships/nepotism.Dokibird for example was able to produce last year's concert by getting a recommendation from Hiiro, a chinese vtuber friend who had ties to an organization with their own professional 3D studio, allowing her to rent it/them at her own cost. This year I think she was approached by Fantastic Reality/MIGIRI who seemed to handle most of the production costs and already had connections to SPWN, etc for the streaming, or at least I'm assuming they handled it since she didn't talk about costs at length it like she's done for the last few projects. These kinds of things don't happen unless you already have some kind of foot in the door.
>>113542800off topic, but is dokibird the only indie with a manager?
>>113542800>or at least I'm assuming they handled it since she didn't talk about costs at length it like she's done for the last few projectsThey handled it. Not only she didn't pay for the concert this time, she was paid for it then she blew up part of her payment on having the VOD edited until she was satisfied enough with the result
>>113542843No, there's a lot of them, Despite what shitposters believe, most managers are important beyond simply scheduling and paperwork because they usually have those connections or know how to get them if the chuuba doesn't, and are typically MUCH better at handling sponsorships and getting you better deals than you would on your own. Densetsu's manager is the main reason Mint's been able to get all kinds of shit like the anime VA roles or access to studios for her what seems like constant concerts these days. Doki's manager actually doesn't even have her as his main client. His "real job" is a bigwig esports team manager and she's just a side gig. He actually brought on Snuffy too a few months back because Snuffy was a great example of what happens when a streamer gets really big and doesn't actually know what they're doing with paperwork. Doki and Snuffy would take the same sponsorship for the same game at the same time with a similar CCV, and Snuffy would get paid a fraction of what Doki did because she undersold the crap out of herself in contract negotiations and didn't know what she was actually worth. Now he's handling her contracts and I'm assuming merch and she's said it's been a complete game changer for her career.
>>113542931B-but my witty shondo tweet...
>>113542974Shondo wasn't entirely wrong since it's a lot cheaper to just have your boyfriend handle scheduling for you, but if you're ambitious, want to take the job as a serious career, and actually have the audience to back it, a professional manager or agent with experience in the field and a real business network could help you make a lot more money and achieve a lot more than you'd be able to do without it. Joining a corpo ideally would skip both the having an audience step + finding/affording a manager that actually knows what they're doing steps.
>>113529813>>113529997lol. lmao even>>113541260You mean Nitya?
>>113538030I've seen Clio talk about the same thing. I think I don't know any indie who hasn't had issues with artniggers. Hell, Squ just released this huge tirade against artniggers being insufferable yesterday:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kmJ4jfZ_FcAnd she herself has worked as a commission artist. Also, no, it's a nice dream but Leaflit's tool doesn't work. I tried it, and it wants you to pay for openai tokens, and it's not compatible with vtube studio or warudo. It's just a series of clearly AI generated videos (because openai is shit) that loop whenever you're talking.
>>113529813>plan to mock the company by implying they lost the new Gura>forgets her only connection to Gura is the lack of streams>actually hurts her fans more, company is probably glad she is gone>continues to milk the fans that supported her all this timeGreat person
>>113543229>artniggersYou mean people like her before she discovered that reactslop and political bullshit were more lucrative and completely pivoted her carreer?
>>113543330What part of>And she herself has worked as a commission artistdid I not leave clear? Yeah, she was also an artnigger. But the typical complaint I've seen from like 20 indies by now is that they commission someone from America or Europe, and the experience is awful. Long wait times, they run with the money, they ghost you when you're trying to hire them, they ghost you when you've already paid, they deliver subpar shit and want double to fix it, and in the video I linked, Squ talks of artniggers that charge you 200% or 300% if you want to use the art you already paid for, for commercial purposes. Apparently even SEAfags are most trustworthy than American and European artists. And then there's the faggots who want to "revoke the license" after you bought a premade model, like what happened to Powdr. Filian doesn't count because she pirated hers.So yeah, at least when it comes to hiring artists, that's a clear mid-to-large agency advantage. Not that it's always rainbows, just ask Aqua, but still.
>>113543305>puerto ricanImagine my shock.
>>113543229yeah, artfags are getting worse. I saw one recently who accepted a bunch of commissions then shut all their accounts down
>>113543415>And then there's the faggots who want to "revoke the license" after you bought a premade model, like what happened to Powdr.>Buys a license to use a product under a strict contract>breaks contract>license revoked>surprisedpikachu.jpg
>>113543797>What if I ignore everything you say and focus on one point haha I winSo how many commissions did you needlessly delay to think of that epic put-down?
>>113541533>and yet everyone tries to join a corpo, even if the corpo is shitA lot of people are still caught up in the mindset from five years ago where going corpo was the be all end all of vtubing, before it became clear how absolutely terrible 99% of corpos are.
>opportunity of a lifetime
>>113529813Maybe she could copy doki and say phase almost drove her to suicide or something.I don't think anyone would believe her but that's the approach that'd give her the most clout.
>>113529813qrd on her grad pls
>>113542800SPWN did not produce Fantastic Reality and had nothing to do with the production of it. They only streamed it as a part of their streaming service.
>>113547514would need an oscar worthy acting for this i thinkunless her fans are realllllyyy gullible
>>113529813>>113529997
>>113538661>>113538411meh, she unrioincally would fit with V4M/Chroma because they will get her 3D withint a few months it is the one thing they do, so their goals are aligned. Now, those concerts and performances wont be viewed by many or remembered and forgotten to time because nobody cares about V4M/Chroma and she would probably graduate shortly after getting 3D once she discovered what a black company actually looks like and it isn't worth it, but they can get her wants she wants and fast
>>113547659
>>113547659nah it's funny
>>113529813>Who will she copy next?Filian, she will disappear for a new model she is already asking money
>>113547659>copiedshe's making fun of her lol
>>113548917Someone who would make fun of Gura wouldn't make a cover for Ash Again
lol
Look on the bright side Phase....you got the Gura experience :)
>>113543797>breaks contractWhat contract? Powdur bought a $200 customizable premade model. She bought a product, she didn't sign a contract. She used it for a few months, and then the whole Amelia meme happened and she streamed with the model customized to look like Amelia for a week. Then the artist got pissy and changed the TOS so he could remove "the license" whenever the fuck he wanted, because of course an artnigger would be against anti-immigrant memes and would take virtue signaling over respecting his clients. But Powdur sent him to kick rocks because she still had the original TOS. She keeps on streaming with that model (the original elf customization, not the Amelia meme one) to this day because fuck the artfaggot who had to prove why they're called artfaggots.
>>113553044I would be seething too if I spent thousands of dollars on a meme degree in "art" only to be replaced by AI. Maybe now they should get a real job.
>>113553106Actually good artists won't be replaced. Unless they're insufferable faggots, impossible to work with.Speaking of AI, check out what my favorite Doraemon Band released a few hours ago:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJkftbo4ww0And their best one:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_JMyLMwqj8
>>113553044>Powdur bought a $200 customizable premade modelShe bought a license to use a customizable model program shared by all of the other users.A license she signed a contract for in order to purchase
>>113553233Source? I followed the whole controversy, the TOS changed so it became a license only after she did the Amelia streams. Before that, there was no license. Dilate.
>>113553283You know people can just look at the purchasing website itself, right? Who are you trying to convince?
>>113553307>Who are you trying to convince? No one. I'm just trying to correct the lies coming out of artfaggots mouths. And again, the TOS the model has right now is not the TOS the model had when Powdur bought it, so your "hurr just look at the website" argument is retarded. This is why she's still using the model - she has the rights to it from the original TOS.
>>113553378I know it's easy to bullshit on 4chan but the reason she still has the model is because it's too costly to sue her for something like this.
>>113549429It's LITERALLYLIT.ER.AL.LY.fine whenever Phase Connect does it.When Hololive does it? When Nijisanji does it? You know I'll be first in line to call them black companies. But Phase Connect? S'all good. Based, even.
>>113553549>I know it's easy to bullshit on 4chanJust like you're doing right now.But you know what? Fuck it, your argument still proves >>113543229 right - one of the advantages of agencies is that vtubers don't need to deal with artist bullshit (unless your artist gropes schoolgirls like Aqua's). You can be sure the license is with the agency, not the artist. And some small agencies even let you keep the model after you quit. Or after they fold. Like Lulu Lasso.
>>113553633Well yeah.Agencies just trade in artist ghosting for management ghosting.
>>113553670Depends on the agency. Nijisanji, yeah, you're fucked.Holo... I guess it's bad on the EN side, but apparently from stuff is better on the JP side going from Suisei and Marine's accounts. They apparently had shitty managers, so they complained and got the manager changed. Also, didn't Coco poach her Holo manager once she went back to being the indie Kson?Phase Connect apparently was like that at the start but now it's good. The fact Anya had issues with Muumi when every single Phase kisses the grounds she walks on, says more about Anya than about Phase.
>>113529813>taking the piss out of guraAbsolutely based.
>>113553807>Also, didn't Coco poach her Holo manager once she went back to being the indie Kson?why do /vt/browns make up so much retarded shit about her?she has not "poached" anyone nor tried to, ever, regardless of what pippa and doxxagi told you
>>113554039Before joining vshojo, kson hired her old holo manager because she was tired of dealing with all the scheduling shit. Not my fault you started watching vtubers in 2025.
>>113554106your lie would be a lot more believable if you didn't include obviously false details>because she was tired of dealing with all the scheduling shitshe hired her first manager before she returned to being kson and hired her second manager (mamane/mica) around new years 2022there has never been any indication that either of them have worked for hololivenow perish, mexican phasezoomer
>>113554244It'd be easier to find if any mention of "kson" and "manager" didn't return the vshojo fiasco. But I was there, I only unsubscribed once she joined vshojo. And at the start she didn't have a manager. She only hired "a manager she'd previously worked with" once she'd gone back to being kson, because she didn't want to deal with anything relating to sponsors. Hololive was never explicitly mentioned, but it was inferred.

Phase is one of the most lenient when it comes to their talents needing breaks and hiatuses. To be honest, I'm getting similar vibes from Anya like when Clara went out on her goodbye stream, aka throwing a bit of shade and a tantrum over not getting her way.
>>113569512What is Anya gonna throw shade about? "I was here for a couple months. I was more than patient and you never gave me a 3D live so I am leaving."Self inflicted or not, Clara thought she was in the right and had reason to throw shade and she was throwing shade at the rotten Phase fans who are from the sewer.Clara sang Born This Way for her situation.
