Huge difference between the main branch and NijiEN. I too don't understand why the main branch doesn't get enough love. They have zero controversy compared to EN. Idios, Ayakaki, and Poppun Parlor are good, for example.

Fanartists trying to sell prints, stickers, keychains etc. are running on a razor thin margin and considering this con has been going on for years now they've realized what does and doesn't sell. There will always be people doing special work for their oshis for the love of the game, but for the most part you should be looking at merch booths as a study of where the money is. Or in this case, isn't.This isn't a situation of a company being blacklisted because of some drama from three years ago. It's a situation of people realizing that it's not financially viable to try and make and sell merch of them (at the very least, in this specific venue.) If it really bothers you, support the people that do still make and sell it, even if it's not at this specific con.

You could also have a membership and try to guess depending on the number of llikes a member stream had, but given the amount of people that just don't care or forget to like the stream, that'd give you a minimum at best. Of course, you can never tell how many actual paying members there are due to gift subs, so it'd be inaccurate either way. But that person got some attention with that statement, which is what they were looking for in the first place, so good for them I guess? Unless they are screenshotting their own post and showing it off themselves.

Recently for the concert she collabbed with a store that focuses on rock concert merch, they crashed after doki announced it. Same with the void controller website a few months back, JeanaDraws' clothing line site, etc. etc. Her fans buy nearly anything with her face on it, she's not exactly hard to draw, and she shouts out and/or boosts fan merch all the time to further encourage people to make it.
