firstly i dislike the autism defense. this seems far more likely to be a personality and belief based behavior than autism. even if it was autism, that would just make a person lean more towards such behavior, not make it inevitable or directly cause it. i know autistic people that value punctuality, and apparently i know autistic people that don't.

to me this seems more related to perfectionism than punctuality though, and in a post hoc sense. she does not seek perfection and thus takes the necessary steps, she abhors imperfection. i further assume it is related to neuroticism, she predicts the negative effects of streaming later and the feelings it would cause her, she can't bear them so she avoids them entirely. i may be projecting here because this reminds me of when i skipped class a lot, i'd be late and instead of having to explain myself to the teacher i'd just skip the whole class or even the whole day. it's tomorrow me's problem, or avoidant personality disorder. since then i went through "exposure therapy" of other people making me feel bad, as well as realizing i'm way overestimating the negative reactions - the teachers were more often than not kind and understanding and people in general don't care enough to give me shit over my mistakes.

tl;dr i don't think its autism, i think its neuroticism.

however it's not objectively wrong either. champy should also understand that there are champs who would legitimately prefer if kiki canceled the stream than started late. over the past 5 years people have given her shit about it either way. this is a value judgement, and as kiki is her own boss, what she values is what she should do. not like this situation is ideal for her, she will sometimes say she feels bad about not streaming and does a hangout or something instead, but it may be what she thinks is the lesser evil. being too late, having lower ccv and champy activity, may affect the quality of her stream and this puts off a new viewer, trains her to have lower quality of streams in the future, etc.

this is my expert opinion (lol) on why she cancels streams when she's too late.

A few points on that - since the atmosphere is weightless, you can experiment with any body pose you want. I liked the pic you posted because it is a unique pose - not a character just standing around, but slumped head first upside down on a couch. It would be a good pose for an aquatic piece, as if she was swimming downwards.
Other things to make it feel aquatic would be to show buoyancy in her long hair and ears, lots of bubbles around, etc.

Btw just to give some feedback on what you drew, the OP pic is nice. Good head to body ratio, I think. For the couch pic, the body looks larger, the head smaller, as if she was more adult. I don't know what body size you are general going for when drawing her, but I understand that it can be tough to be consistent, so just keep trying your best. If you are going for her younger look you want to make sure you keep her legs/hips fairly thin.

i agree and thats partly why i didnt think it was autism, there are actual logical reasons for cancelling the stream as well. it seems i was partly right in thinking the symptom is neurotic, but i concede that the trigger for the neurotic symptom is autism. meaning people without autism can also feel bad when a plan doesn't work out, but autistic people are more likely to feel like that.

most importantly, its not fatalistic. it can be mitigated. im a big proponent of CBT and self-talk, i'd like it if she cancelled the stream but also told herself "this is fine these things happen, it has happened in the past and nothing horrible happened because of it. i am cancelling the stream because it makes sense but i should take steps to avoid this happening in the future" etc
