I was going through a rentry list of one of the generals here, and it just hit me how many vtubers over the last five years are gone. Graduated, inactive, vanished without a trace, left due to drama, maybe even died irl, etc.Some of them were not even around for that long. Maybe a year or two. Just a drop of water in a large sea. Many never got past 2 view status. You google their handles and only one or two results come up. It's eerie, a ghostly feel. Like they the once existed, but now no more.Some managed to even have merch. What do you even do with merch from a dead vtuber? It's not worth anything to anyone, the character doesn't exist.I think it sucks when they nuke their socials. There is nothing to remember them by, and their memory fades. Can't rewatch comfy videos. All that great fanart they got of their model, just gone. Eventually, you can't even remember their voice anymore.Who are some vtubers who you feel only you remember? Let's keep their memory alive.
