Some specific brands and models were stinkers, but even decent cheap laptops were reliable bricks.Then at some point build quality absolutely tanked. No more screws, they switched to shitty little locking plastic tabs and the plastic itself became extremely thin and fragile.But if you splurged for mid to high end models, you still got passable build quality.But in the last few years even the high end models are built like absolute fucking shit. They bend, creak and break all the time.
