A few will quote tweet it calling it "toxic, idol culture, parasocial" and any other buzzword they can pull outta their ass for twitter likes. But the reality? Those are the ones who don't watch streams anyways. They watch a few clips, enjoy the aesthetic of a guy and add his oshi marks to the other 20 in their bio, and go back to playing Genshin. But on youtube? Most are indifferent to a guy saying that, don't care, or will secretly think it's based. Women don't like being seen as a bad person by the community and it's a flaw we have that we care too much about what strangers think. Unfortunately you won't see many say what they really think, it'll just show through their actions (like only paying attention to male collabs, only watching male vtubers, etc). So really the guy wouldn't get any real "hate" or rumors about him. I've only seen one single male vtuber who openly said (not verbatim) that he doesn't want to collab with women because he doesn't want to cuck his fans and that was Zanny.
