What value does someone watching a video for 3 seconds before realizing it's slop and closing it have to "brand partners". Do they really think they are this stupid.

They really should only count a view if the viewer stays through the entire video, studies it, takes a quiz and gets 100%, answering what they saw, attends the channel creator's birthday party and would attend their funeral.

It already did. if you have the page for a song open for example and run a refresh script every 5 minutes it does count. It's unofficial but people say say 4-5 views per day are fine. If the same IP is spamming refreshes there is a chance of it getting caught and filtered. Kpop fans studied how to play the system

I do not think this is going to work out because comparing YouTube to TikTok is actually like comparing oranges to apples. Oranges are like long form content on YouTube, and apples are like short form content on TikTok. Even though both YouTube and TikTok both have short form and long term content, it is clear that each platform is known for having one over the other. YouTube already updated their view count as OP stated a while back to allow us to compare YouTube Shorts traffic to TikTok traffic. We know TikTok gets more traffic on short term content compared to YouTube. And we also know that goes for Rumble.
