Any actual battle would not be like that. The mechanics are so gamey that it removes any sense of realism. Things like God of War and Shadow of the Colossus do a better job depicting what a fight with a large enemy would be like.

Dark Souls fans will insist that things like dodgeroll invincibility are necessary mechanics to a game. But think how retarded that would be in reality. A giant creature smacks you, but it "doesn't count" because you were in a dodgeroll animation.
To be honest the origin of "dodgeroll invincibility" is probably shitty code in the first place, since one animation takes precedence over another, it's an abuse to cheese certain fights.

2 years from now they will all live in japan and speak Japanese while streaming in japanese so as to try and get the most opportunities possible. making having an en branch meaningless.
