The fact that so far I haven't seen a girl in this tourney that plays Tetris beat the girl that plays Puyo is quite telling how unbalanced it is.

Puyo needs combos to send blocks, the longer the combo the more it sends, and from an amateur's pov seems to be the easier game to play, especially when a mere 2 combo can send like 3 lines to your opponent

Yes, puyo is a fair bit stronger than tetris, been a problem since the first game in fact, easier to play, stack and combo while tetris players have to play full speed to try and block them somehow let alone be able to attack. Duck just lost now because she wasn't fast enough in fact. This makes me remember that time Suisei got assblasted because Marin kicked her ass lmao.

Also all of the Holos in semi-finals are Puyo player kek, goes to show what is superior.
