Between the more realistic difficulty of Forza, middling collab results, the limitations of not having a driver's license, and the debut of a new kohai who actually focuses on racing, IRyS might have realized that she lacks the aptitude to deep-dive into motorsport and build an identity as a racing chuuba. She barely talks about racing games or manga anymore.From that perspective, it's very possible she'll move past the image she built during Carbonated Love and rebrand herself. That said, there's no guarantee a total reset would pay off, and since the racing vibe has already given her some decent results, making a huge shift would be a huge gamble.

You have to admit that HoloEN has been in decline since the pandemic era ended, and the decline only became more pronounced after the wave of graduations. Given that, it’s understandable that Cover would choose to scale back its global expansion and shift its focus back toward Japan.
Redesigning carries a real risk of decline, and she definitely knows that. If she decides to go through with a redesign anyway, it's basically her saying "even if this flops, I'm definitely not graduating anytime soon, so I'll spend a few years rebuilding the fanbase if I have to." So overall, we should definitely welcome it.Also, even though she seems kinda obsessed with looking like a loli, there's a solid chance the redesign actually makes her look a bit more mature. You guys don't speak a word of Japanese, so you probably don't know this, but Miko's baby larp gets pretty mixed reactions among the JP audience, and plenty of people are completely cringed out by it. IRyS, being bilingual, is almost certainly aware of this, and she knows damn well that trying to act like a young girl while getting older herself has a really low ceiling if she wants a long career. So personally, I'm not expecting much out of a redesign anyway
